A diverse past weekend of bookings to compliment our normal wedding bands and discos. We had Gordon Strachan booked for a Sunday lunch event in Inverurie and just along the road in Oldmeldrum at the same time there was a fun casino for a charity event. Add to this a sax player, a fabulous Steps tribute act at the Bridge of Don and two fundraising race nights for local clubs in Aberdeen! Cove Rangers and our hospitality and catering partner, The McGinty’s Group, are delighted to announce a new initiative to enhance supporters’ matchday experience. With the lounge at Balmoral Stadium all but booked-up for the entire season, we are giving fans the chance to enjoy the same top class dining off site, with transport to and from the ground for each home game.
Supporters can choose to dine either at The Ferryhill Hotel or McGinty’s Meal An’ Ale, where a two-course meal will be on offer.

Fans will be collected from McGinty’s at 2.15pm or Ferryhill House at 2.30pm, and travel to the stadium in comfort on a Peace Coach.
They will be supplied with a match ticket for the new Home end stand and a voucher for a hot or cold drink and hot savoury at half-time. There will then be the opportunity to enjoy the hospitality in the Fans Bar after the game, with the coach departing Balmoral Stadium at 5.30pm to drop guests back in Aberdeen.

To round things off, as part of the package, all fans will be given a complimentary drinks voucher for McGinty’s. The cost of the package is just £75 per person, inclusive of VAT. It is planned to launch this venture for the match against Ayr United on Saturday, August 20th.

The countdown is on for Clan Cancer Support’s first fundraising ball in more than two years! We are rolling out the red carpet for our event at the Beach Ballroom on Saturday, October 1, with all proceeds going towards providing vital services for people affected by cancer in the north-east, Moray, Shetland and Orkney. Guests will be immersed in the prohibition era with performances from a live band (supplied by Elite Promotions), dancing flapper girls and barbershop singers - with a 1920s style car providing Instagram-worthy photo opportunities. The evening, which includes a three-course meal and drinks reception, will also provide the opportunity for guests to win raffles prizes and bid for exclusive auction items.
Tickets cost £100 per person and a limited number of tables of 10 are available at £1,000 each. The VIP packages are now completely sold out. Contact [email protected] for further details.
