Today we were over at Lady Hastings Primary School in Collingham for two UV School Disco’s for KS1 & KS2, both very different to cater for the different ages, all hosted by Joanna, over 180 children over the two discos all joining in having fun.

On Saturday afternoon we hosted a Brand NEW party theme, especially for our younger ones, a BLIPPI themed party, with lots of Blippi dancing, fun & games for Austin’s 3rd Birthday Party.

Urgent appeal to find a kidney donor for 12-year-old boy in the council’s care.

We’re issuing an urgent plea to find a kidney donor who could help transform the life of a 12-year-old boy in our care.

Jack, which is not his real name, has been in our care since 2022. He was diagnosed with chronic kidney failure when he was just 10 months old and has been on the transplant waiting list since 2019, but so far no donor has been found.

Sadly, due to complications in recent weeks, Jack is now on his last treatment option which puts his future at real risk unless a kidney is found.

A public appeal of this kind is a first for us as a council but, because he is a child in our care, we are determined to do all we can to help him find a donor and we’re urging people in Leeds and beyond, to come forward and see if they can help.

Potential donors must meet certain criteria to be eligible to donate: aged between 18 – 55, a UK resident, not having diabetes or receiving cancer treatment, and having a body mass index of less than 30.

That’s finally a wrap for Team Rascals, our Christmas Events & Entertainment are over for 2024.
A HUGE Thank you to our team who gave up their Christmas Day & Boxing Day to entertain the Children.
We are now having a few days off with limited admin from Monday 30th December.
Thank you to each & every person we have met in 2024 & have booked events & parties, we can’t wait for 2025

More Christmas Parties today, Jingle & Snowball were at Starbeck Cons Club for their annual Children’s Christmas Party with a special visit from Santa too ! Our third year & what an afternoon it was, lots of Children & Adult participation!

Santa and two of his elves, Snowball & Cookie were at Harrogate Town FC today, giving out goodies to the children & meeting lots of families.
Santa even got involved in a half time penalty shoot out with Harry Gator, saving 6 penalties!

A very busy week with School Discos, Nursery Christmas parties, Santa Storytime in Nurseries, hospital visits & a Christmas Party for Kidzplay today visiting West Tanfield, Bedale, Ripon, Harrogate, Moortown & Leeds !

We ran a Christmas Quiz at our Christmas Experience at Wharfedale Grange last Sunday, the winners prize was we offered to donate £50 to a local charity or help someone like this of the winners choice.
The O'Paul Family decided they would like the £50 to go towards with rescue of this dog Olive in Thirsk, which is local to them.
I called the Vet this morning and have donated the £50 towards it's care and vet bills, as it was in such a bad way.
Whilst we appreciate they are needing to raise a lot of money, we hope this goes a little way in helping them.
Thank you the O'Paul Family for telling us about this rescue, we are all dog lovers at Rascals Entertainment.
We are still waiting for the other winners on the day to come forward with their Charity of their choice.
