My monthly SpeedQuizzing event at The Fisherman - Stevenage returns tonight - and it's the first of two for June!

Tonight is the General Knowledge quiz, and on Monday 29th (and any month when there's a fifth Monday) it's the Music Quiz. Both nights are always full, so if you haven't booked yet then get in touch with the pub now to see if they have any tables left!

Another busy SpeedQuizzing Tuesday at The Chieftain - Welwyn Garden City! The Top 2 are the same as last time - but with such a small difference in scores, any of the next six teams could have won it! Quicker fingers next time then, eh?

Shaun will be back for the next one in two weeks, on Tuesday 16th June.

The fasttrack wheel was very kind to a lot of teams last night, sending many of you straight to first place at Jolly Postie - Royston! But there can only be one SpeedQuizzing winner, and this week it was RED HOT QUIZZY PEPPERS - who I suspect might have won anyway, judging by their outstanding performance throughout the night!

Our Speed Bingo winners didn't get the rollover jackpot so that goes up to £140 next week, but THE MUNSTERS did win 30 points plus the Poundland crap! 🤣

Well done to everyone. See you all again next week!

A combination of every Arsenal supporter in Tring spending all day Saturday at The Black Horse and then going to the parade in London yesterday kept our SpeedQuizzing turnout way down, but that gave BJ ROZ a chance at the win!

BACK SEAT OF THE BUS didn't take their name from a love of snogging or even smoking (banned for years now, but you get the point), but from the style of the pub bench they were sitting on! Well done to them for second place.

Third was CHAMPIONEY, with UP THE ORSE leading the way most of the night but having a disastrous final round putting them in fourth, and RED WINOS in last place.

See you again in two weeks on Sunday 14th June!

A busy SpeedQuizzing Wednesday at Club 124, with nine teams! A multitude of fasttrack wheel spins shook some positions up, but nothing could keep ANDY SUN BURNHAM from the top! They won despite their -25 point handicap, so they get -50 next time.

THE QUEENS OF HEARTS came second on Tara's birthday, so no doubt she'll be enjoying the bottle of wine tonight! And the new scratchcards weren't available, so instead I gave away two silver vouchers.

Thank you to manager Charlotte for investing in an AC unit which kept us all nice and cool!

NO QUIZ NEXT WEEK as the bar can't open on that night, so I'll see you in two weeks on June 10th,
