On Monday evening at ice Sheffield... the annual Christmas Classic took place!

Team Batman faced off against Team Robin all in aid of the Sheffield Children's Hospital NHS and Charity!

Team Batman came back from 5-2 down to take the spoils 9-7!

Over £18k was raised for charity!

It was great to see so many of the Draft Tournament players taking part too and a chance for draft tournament organiser, Jimi, to ice with them!!

Congratulations guys and well done for raising so much for such a worthy cause! 🎅🎄🏒🏆

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all! 🎄🎅🏒

Hopefully we will have registration for Sheffield and Anglet open in early January!

We've been working hard to find the right venues for both tournaments and are nearly ready to announce them.

In the next few weeks there will be a new logo and sponsorship announcement for Anglet as well as it's own social media pages!

Exciting times to come!

It's 49 sleeps until Christmas... struggling for gift ideas for the hockey player in your life?

We will hopefully have both Anglet, France and Sheffield, UK on sale by the end of the month.. more details to follow.

Sheffield will be the 8th to 10th August 2025. We are still looking at venues for the party.

We are waiting to sign the contract for France too and will have that sorted in the next few weeks. 🏒🚨🇬🇧🇫🇷🍻🍻

Planning is well underway for our tournaments in 2025! We have dates for both tournaments, we're just waiting for confirmation from the rink in Anglet before we formally announce them. Let's just say August 2025 is going to be pretty busy! 🙈🏒🇬🇧🇫🇷🍻

We took some time off after the Sheffield tournament and unfortunately we missed a few messages and emails. We will be catching up this week. Sorry about that. 😕

Saturday evenings entertainment at Happy’s Bar Sheffield will be brought to you by the band Wild Blue Heart!

The band are a 4 piece who play upbeat anthems from the last 25 years of pop and rock. They will be suitable for everyones taste and promise to help you guys keep the party going after a gruelling day on the ice!

Meet the final captain for Sheffield 2024... Oskars Mezavilks !

Oskars has played in all the Sheffield draft tournaments too and always comes over to chat to us and express his disgust that he always gets a Green jersey!! 🙈 Well, he'll get the chance to pick which jersey to wear this weekend! Will there be another green one in the mix? 🤔😬

Captain No. 5 for Sheffield is a guy who has played every one of the Sheffield Tournaments! He always plays in the spirit of what the tournaments are made for, whether that be the Drafts or Rec Hockey Tournaments. Please welcome Scott Hayward !

Scott is also responsible for one of the best pictures captured at the first ever Draft... 🤣🙈

Here's what he had to say about being asked to be captain!

"Absolutely pleasure to be asked to captain one of the teams this year at the draft event, I've been to every UK one, and hopefully, that streak continues!

I usually get myself into a bit of a state on the Friday night, and I'd be expecting my teammates to follow suit!

I mostly coach nowadays, but I love the chance to throw my kit on and attempt to practice what I preach.

Big shout out to Jimi and Vix for putting this on again and looking forward to meeting new and old players alike again"!
