***Limited places left in Anglet***

We have a few places left for our tournament in Anglet this year! We have mentioned this before, but we'll say it again because we think it's pretty awesome - The rink is 50m from the beach in one of the Basque regions most popular surf destinations! 🏄‍♀️🌊

The rink also has a limited number of beds in the Dorms there! This means you can literally eat at the rink, drink at the rink, play hockey and sleep at the rink...roll out of bed and hit the beach. The price for a bed is £100 FOR 4 NIGHTS (21st August to 25th August)!

With flights direct to Biarritz from London Stansted, Paris or a short train ride from Bordeaux.... what are you waiting for! 🏒🍻🇫🇷

Il nous reste quelques places pour notre tournoi à Anglet cette année ! On l'a déjà dit, mais on le répète, on trouve ça vraiment génial : la patinoire est à 50 m de la plage, dans l'une des destinations de surf les plus prisées du Pays Basque ! 🏄‍♀️🌊

Le nombre de lits dans les dortoirs est limité ! Vous pouvez donc manger, boire, jouer au hockey et dormir à la patinoire… et vous lever du lit pour la plage. Le prix d'un lit est de 100 £ pour 4 nuits (du 21 août au 25 août) !

Avec des vols directs pour Biarritz depuis Londres Stansted, Paris ou un court trajet en train depuis Bordeaux… qu'attendez-vous ! 🏒🍻🇫🇷

Have you ever been curious about our tournament but unsure if the level is right for you?

No problem!! This tournament is open to everyone over the age of 18 at any level!

We have had first timers to Belgium pro league players over the years! "How is that fair" I hear you ask?!

Well, it's simple! Everyone enters as "free agents". You tell us your level and we put you in a draft round with players of a similar ability. This means teams will be evenly matched on the ice!

How do we pick the teams is your next question right? Well.... we drink!!

We are absolutely stoked to have tied up a deal with Basqueland Brewing for the 2025 tournoi!

Ross has been working super hard behind the scenes in France picking out our base venues and getting the deals done!!

We love a bit of beer league at the Draft Tournament and are always happy to promote your team and games...

Last weekend, the Leeds Warriors 2 hosted Sheffield Ice Tigers IHC in a Ice Hockey Summer Classic league game!

Draft tournament regular (Sheffield and Anglet), Luke Newbiggin captained Leeds, and draft tournament boss man, Jimi, turned out for the tigers! Both scored a goal each and the Tigers ran out winner 6-4! 🐯⚫️🔵🏒🍻

It soon rolls around to Friday! We hope you all had a great week?

We are now in a position to share our extremely exciting news with you all!! We have a brand new venue for our host base in Sheffield this year! Please say a huge HELLO to Pad12 Wine and Gin bar !

Having been talking to the bar for a while, we are excited to be working with them. They know a few of our regular players, and so know what the vibe of the tournament is.

We caught up with Laura Hall from the bar to find out more...

"Based in the up and coming area of Kelham
Island our Wine & Gin Bar - Pad 12, is excited to be hosting the 2025 UK Draft Tournament. We expect a weekend full of hockey, food, drink, fun and music and we can’t wait to play our part in this great event".

The bar is over 2 floors and has exclusive use of the huge courtyard outside which, if the weather turns, can be covered and heated.

We are really stoked about this partnership and hope Pad12 will be our base for years to come!
