The beautiful Bamburgh ~ Always up there with my favourite Northumberland destinations and always somewhere I recommend when I’m asked for best places to visit. That sight of the magnificent as you drive or walk into the village is never not breathtaking!

The village itself is stunning, picture postcard cottages and independent stores with a great choice of places to stop to eat or drink. The renowned a firm favourite with visitors and locals alike, all great places to stop as well as and for those all important cake and coffee rests! and providing some gorgeous take out options too.

A wander around the churchyard here or the Grace Darling museum to learn about one of the villages more famous residents is a great addition to a day out here. As well as the sprawling sand dunes and exquisite beach it’s everything you’d want in a Northumberland day out.
