"We had Dine for our wedding at Sefton Park Palm House on Easter Saturday and they were flawless!! In the lead up to the wedding, Jen had been amazing on emails and zoom calls - always responding promptly to any questions/worries and making sure we were well informed on every little detail of how the day would run. She was a fabulous contact to have and we felt at ease that she could do events like the back of her hand and nothing was too much trouble for her! All of staff on the day were professional, attentive and friendly and we felt like we couldn't have had better! Now the food...wow! We went for the barbecue menu as we wanted a more relaxed vibe and for people to have as much or as little as they wanted. It was unrealllll and we had so many positive comments from our guests about how delicious the food was! Some even went back for thirds! There was a great selection for everyone and they accommodated any dietary requirements with ease. Thank you soooooo much to Jen and the team - you were a massive part of the best day of our lives and we're very grateful, Becca & Stefan X "

Today on we are visiting the old walled garden at Rise Hall. Part of the original Georgian estate, the 3 acre walled garden once supplied the family at the Hall with fresh produce. We are now talking to the charity that currently operate it to source fresh organic produce for the Hall once again.

The Mansion Tea Rooms opened on Saturday! Nestled over on the private side of The Mansion Leeds , with spectacular views over Roundhay Park, it offers a wonderful tasting menu of teas which are unlike anything else you'll find.

Fancy sampling the tea created for Harry & Meghan's wedding? Or maybe you want to see why the Emperor of Japan held so tight to his Royal Yellow tea that it's only been exported in the last few years? Then this is the place!

FEEDBACK// We get some lovely emails from our clients, but this one was particularly lovely, from a couple married at Rise Hall in December:

"What a wedding. Myself and my new wife could not be happier with how the day went.

You were incredible on the day. You went above and beyond. I’ve been to several weddings where the bride and groom felt as if their wedding planners were bossy/dictated the day too much but the only word I can use to describe you was magical.

You just appeared exactly when needed and only then. It was perfect. I recall several moments when you put my mind at ease and you took care of everything so effortlessly.

The staff at Rise hall were also unbelievable. Dinner service was amazing, I felt like royalty. Not only were they extremely good at their jobs, they were extremely friendly too. It was all just so elegant.

The rooms were all incredible. The bar staff were incredible. The food was incredible. Everything was incredible…

I cannot fault anything. It was just a magical day...

I could go on and on about how good it was. But I don’t want to write a book! Just thank you to you and everyone involved on the day. You all made our day so special!"

COCKTAILS// Cocktails are increasingly popular for drinks receptions, not least because they really give a great way to showcase your personality or theme for your event! Our staff are trained to create all the usual favourites, plus we can create a personalised cocktail just for you based on your tastes.

Whether it's Grapefruit Mojitos at a private dinner for 20, or 1,500 espresso martinis for an event at Chatsworth House, we've got it sorted.

We welcomed lots of friends old and new to our Valentine's Dinners at Howsham Hall and Rise Hall at the weekend! Wonderful to see so many of our wedding couples returning, plus some of our nearly-weds too!

This sesame tempura king prawn dish was one of the highlights of the starters served with Oriental salad & sweet chilli dipping sauce. Fresh and delicious way to start the evening.

CHLOE// Introducing Chloe, our sales and events dynamo at Rise Hall ! Chloe not only looks after our sales enquiries, she can often be found working at the events too! This gives her a great insight in to what will work best for you and your guests, so she can guide you to making the best choices. As a recent email said:

DESSERTS// A quick survey of the Dine team revealed that dessert is our favourite course... having seen this, we think we know why!

This dessert was from our recent Wedding Luxe event Hall , and what could be better than pear & blackberry crumble? However, this take on crumble was a showstopper! A blackberry dome was filled with pear mousse and accompanied by cinnamon crumble and blackcurrant jellies. Beautiful and delicious!

It's beginning to look a lot like....

This fabulous photo shoot ( see our amazing suppliers below) was just one of a host of goings on this week- the Dine team have pulled off a wedding creatives event with a real wow factor Rise Hall , a murder mystery Howsham Hall , we've got The big man SantaVM entertaining 500 excitable guests The Mansion Leeds , and a corporate christmas party Palm House Sefton Park-plus 3 weddings, 2 private parties, 1 photoshoot - but no partridge in a pear tree (yet) 🎅

Looking forward to sharing some images from all our events in the next few days, and hopefully catch our breath before next weekend when we really hit Christmas big style!
