Wow, what an amazing 2 weekends of Tomorrowland. It was its 20th Birthday. Gutted that I wasn't there this year, but sadly and joyfully I had a little girl enter our lives 11 weeks ago, so wanted to be home for the first few months to provide support for my wife and my little boy. Super pleased that you can at least follow on live with 2 of the main stages. I hope in future years we will get a bigger choice, but can appreciate they don't want to give away all the magic - You have to go and see it for yourself!! Been watching as much as I can the over the past 2 weeks, jumping between live sets and relives during the week. Super excited to be DJing again next weekend and deliver my own Tomorrowland set at a 60th Birthday - maybe not lol.

It was great to see all the old crew / legends of Tomorrowland : Afrojack, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Swedish House Mafia, Hardwell, David Guetta, Alesso, Tiesto, Steve Aoki, Armin Van Buuren, 3 are Legend and more. We even got to see Dimension - the first Drum & Bass set by a legendary British producer / DJ. I personally love loads of their tracks. Also really enjoyed Symphony Of Unity. Have seen them a couple of times, but you can never get enough of seeing a live orchestra perfectly recreate classic edm tracks.

I could write a good paragraph on each set that I liked, but that would take a long time!!

David Guetta closed the party extravaganza with an amazing set including a mixture of his current and past hits, plus loads of nostalgic, Tomorrowland classics and anthems. One of the tracks Avicii - Levels had a special / spiritual tone and went down really well with all of those that loved Avicii's music. He finished his set with a custom edit / remix of Europe - A Final Countdown. I would never of thought of this track to close out Tomorrowland, but it was a great choice.

Hopefully I will get to be there in person again next year.

🎉 It was 2 years ago that my wife and I welcomed our little boy in to our world - A miniature Ricky Gold....

Well, in just 2 weeks time, we'll be welcoming a little girl into the world also! 🎀 Can't wait to meet her and share the DJ vibes with my newest fan! 💕

Last night's DJ gig at Immanuel Church in Southbourne was an absolute blast! Picture this: a 50th Birthday bash with a fantastic 80s theme and a sprinkle of 70s funk. 🎶 I crafted custom Hollywood movie soundtracks that set the stage during the gala dinner buffet. The main restaurant was transformed into a Hollywood haven with dazzling themed lighting! 🎥✨

📸 The night got even more star-studded with a Hollywood Movie themed Photo Booth! 🌠 Guests struck a pose against a massive 10ft x 8ft Backdrop banner, surrounded by Hollywood and New Year's props. Paparazzi-worthy moments captured! 📷🌟

Last night's setup at Christchurch Rowing Club for a 1st Wedding anniversary. The Interesting thing is that I also DJ'd the couple's wedding last year and it was the same crowd, roughly the same music and I even recognised that some people sat at the same tables and requested the same songs.

A great night and glad I was able to be part of their special night again.

For anyone who likes EDM music Tomorrowland is streaming live for the next 10 days their huge festival, held annually in July.

Stream Tomorrowland live from your TV at home. Tonight is the close of weekend 1 and will end with Martin Garrix blowing the place up with tunes, fireworks and lasers. I think he starts around 9/ 9:30 and the festival finishes at 11pm in the UK.

A fantastic review received from the groom of a recent wedding a couple of weeks ago held at the MacDonald, Elmers Court Resort, Lymington.

It was an amazing night of 90s / 00s nostalgia. I nice mix of cheesy hits to begin followed by a 2 hour 90s/00s rave with 3 generations dancing with glowsticks and with UV lights to hits from Darude, Faithless, Robert Miles, Tiesto, Darren Styles, Cascada , Basshunter and more...

When he asked where he could post a review, I asked him could he try and write it thinking in terms of what a couple planning their wedding would find helpful when considering me to DJ their wedding....
..Well, Damien blew me away with this review!

Tonights Wedding Disco at The Bournemouth Electric Club. The couple got married in Jamaica, so this was a post wedding disco with first dance and cake cutting reenactment etc.

Lots of Jamaican themed music to begin. A custom first dance mashup mix edited by me. A range of party tunes, R&B, Indie Rock and some 00s Trance Classics for the Groom at the end.
