What a fun day for from the guys at REACH Project - it was brilliant to meet so many schools and the kids seemed to really enjoyed all the activities on offer 😊 lots of happy, smiling faces!

Working on my craft for next weeks classes! How cute is this? 😍 Tomorrow it is off to the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice for a Valentined themed session making hearts and planting sweet pea, looking forward to the workshop!

Next week is fully booked folks, sorry if anyone was trying to get a half term workshop booked in. I still have the school special offer on for another week, check out my other post :)

A really fun day today! Lots of creativity 👏 👌 🤩 we made ice art using salt and paint at Everton Day Centre. Then we made squeegee art at the Everton Day Centre with the 2nd group! Then at Killinchy After School Club we investigated acids and alkaline using red cabbage water to test pH levels in household items! Plus everyone planted pea shoot pots to take home and grow! Sundays are for relaxing? Yeah? Unless you have a super busy week lined up then Sundays are for cleaning and prep lol ❤️😊

Next week is and over 200 children will take part in activities with me over the course of the week! The theme this year is and we will be doing colourful science experiments, getting crafty with positive messages and planting pea shoots which everyone can take home, care for and grow! It's going to be a fun filled week! 🌱

I will also be running most of my adult workshops next week too ❤️ hopefully lots of photos to follow next week!

The van is cleaned, signs are clean, prep is underway and I can't wait to get started!

February Garden Planning tips 😊

For those of you just starting out or experimenting on growing your own fruit / veg / flowers this year, check out the basics of Companion Planting. Even a container garden can flourish following this guide. Some plants do better planted next to "good" companions, they promote growth, deter certain pests and enhance flavour! These are the guides that I follow. Some plants also deteriorate next to "bad companions", they can hinder growth, attract the wrong insects amd compete for soil nutrients.

Got a new work apron ♥️ tried it for the first time today doing a fun themed workshop at the , I love all the extra handy pockets! We had a Chinese sensory tray, made spinning snakes, planted chives, wore themed glasses and scratch art firework pictures! A brilliant afternoon ♥️🐉🐍🥢🍜 hopefully some pics up soon!
