A look inside why Maui Waui Festival exists, what it stands for and where we are going……

When I started Maui Waui back in 2012 I never would have imagined it would have developed into the beast it has become.
It formed from a love for the new, exciting and pure joy of entertainment.
Hunting out those that are ‘born to perform’ and booking the most entertaining shows you’ll ever see - 6 stages of GOLD

Maui has prided itself on its standard of music, and boy are we lucky with what’s available in this age of connectivity around the world.

Even so, recently our line ups have started to look like every other show.
We never used to be able to afford expensive popular acts so we didn't book them, instead we hunted the fringes of European gigs to find incredible new acts, many of which hadn't ever played in the UK before

Maui is going back to how it started - we are totally SPOILT FOR MUSIC - there are incredible acts around the world that you would never hear about on our little old Island.

So get ready Maui fans - because we have hand picked a spectacular line up for this year - some will be having their UK debut show at the festival
I want the festival to be a voyage of creative discovery, I want you to stumble across your new favourite artist, to stand at the stage blown away by what you are witnessing.

The reason to come is because you HAVEN'T heard of them, because it's new, because it's the best.

We’ve have been working on the Maui Festival 2024 behind the scenes through the year and we are all very excited to join the team!
Working primarily on acoustics and noise management, this has involved working via the authorities to demonstrate we can increase the audience sound levels and create solutions to reduce community noise. Now with an approved Noise Management Plan we want to make the Maui festival the best ever - music to our ears and yours too!

This could be an amazing collaboration with several brands we work alot with on different projects. Enabling both improvements in audience sound quality and dB levels, whilst protecting environmental noise impacts in the community.

Industry-leading audio technology companies L-Acoustics and d&b audiotechnik have joined forces in a groundbreaking collaboration to advance technologies and tools for the benefit of the industry.

The first result of this alliance is a project to jointly develop an innovative software platform, designed to revolutionize the configuration and management of Milan AVB networks.

L-Acoustics and d&b audiotechnik are also collaborating with SoundPLAN GmbH on the key issue of noise impact, working to define an exchange format between professional audio manufacturers’ software and environmental noise simulation software.

at the prestigious Festival Supplier Awards 2024!

The summer of 2022 was eventful; we provided specialist acoustic consultant support to help make the Anfield Stadium concert series successful and ensure the future of concerts at this iconic stadium. Working at FOH and in the community, we helped ensure no complaints for noise!

Over the course of 3 nights in June, Vanguardia were appointed to conduct acoustic control and noise measurement at Liverpool Football Club's Anfield Stadium for a series of concerts promoted by Marshall Arts, Live Nation Entertainment and AEG Presents including The Rolling Stones, Elton John, and The Eagles. What an evening this was - The Red Hot Chilli Peppers Manchester - working on the acoustics and noise management to ensure compliance with the venues license and noise conditions. We were lucky to be working FOH for this show !

Live Music & Festivals: Vanguardia carried out noise monitoring for the Red Hot Chilli Peppers at Emirates Old Trafford, Lancashire Cricket Club. Prior to the event acoustic modelling was carried out to show that events could still happen whilst achieving the noise conditions in the licence. Vanguardia monitored with officers from Trafford Council throughout the event however things took an unprecedented turn when the RHCP’s arrived on stage early. A$AP Rocky a support act for the main act arrived late and performed a short set after the Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
