Olivia was mic'd up and ready to go for this fun 9th birthday party.

The chosen song for the main dance routine was Levitating by Dua Lipa and the girls gave it loads of energy 🌟

The most epic ‘make a music video’ party for some lucky 8yr old Swifties!

Wow, what a party this was 🫶🏼

We choreographed a ‘music video’ style dance for the girls, which was filmed by a team of videographers. Can’t wait to see the finished video.

The truth about parties for young ones….

We ran this party for 6yr olds at the weekend. We had a lot of fun and it was going really well. We played lots of dance games and then taught the chosen routine (to Katy Perry’s ‘Roar’ of course - for the millionth time 😆).

After the break when it was time to do the performance for the parents, some of them changed their minds, and then some others followed suit…. They just didn’t want to perform.

We know how amazing you feel after a performance, but also now nervous and shy you can get beforehand too. So we took the pressure off and said they didn’t have to perform if they didn’t want to.

So the birthday girl chose another game to play and they all relaxed. But after that we gently suggested they do the performance in the garden (as the parents were out there). Suddenly they were up for it again - yay!

So it did happen in the end, and the parents loved it. But we don’t ever push too hard. We want them to have fun and enjoy the party, so our parties are often led by the children. If they want more games we do that, or if they want a full on dance routine, we GO FOR IT!

Well we are really happy that it was her own party then! 🤣

It was a pleasure to dance with this bunch of 8yr olds for the Street dance party at the weekend. The parents couldn’t believe how good the final performance was at the end of such a short time - well that’s why we are the professionals (but it does help having lovely young dancers too!)

Our Fab-U-Lous party teachers Niki and Tabitha at Lavinia’s 8th birthday party last weekend ⭐️

It was Strictly Come Dancing themed, and Niki (left in the pic) does the audience warm up at the Strictly shows!! She knows all the pro dancers and has great background gossip - so who better to run this party eh?

A jam packed party for an 8yr old, with mini makeovers, a bespoke dance routine and crafts (neon bracelet making).

Such a lovely venue too - a studio in Blondin Park in Ealing, with funky round mirrors.

We had a blast, and the birthday girl and her friends did too! 👏🏼

Great to have a new assistant on board for our dance parties - say hello to Gwen!

She dazzled in her sequins and the children loved her energy, games and dance moves 🌟

If you have over 20 children coming to a party, we always provide two party leaders. This helps with the games and makes sure everyone can see all the dance moves.

4 birthday girls hosted this giant Strictly Come Dancing themed party!

We gave sparkly mini makeovers (of course we needed GLITTER!) and played lots of Strictly themed games.

The main dance routine was to Lady Gaga’s Abracadabra which is great fun to dance to. We choreographed a fusion of dance styles into the routine - Jive, Salsa, Charleston, Tango and Cha Cha Cha!

The judges (parents) gave it a fabulous 10/10

Arts and Crafts 🎨

A lovely family we have worked with before wanted their dance party this time to have an arts and crafts element (as well as some fabulous dancing).

The birthday girl said she wanted games and dance but also a calmer element to the party, where she could chat and create something with her friends.

She was turning 10 and had 12 friends at the party, a mix of girls and boys.

So we got plain fabric pencil cases, fabric pens and stencils for them to get creative with.

We also brought a necklace making activity, but they were so engrossed with the pencil cases we didn’t end up needing them!

They turned out really great and the birthday girls was very happy x
