Festival fun this week 🎪
Wow, it has been a whirlwind 🥰 We’ve spent all week on site at Shropshire Petal Fields (open until Sunday!) welcoming visitors to our incredible field of flowers.
Mid-week, Beth & Jim, the two forces who pulled this event together headed down to Manchester to be interviewed on BBC Breakfast 🎥
Shoutout to all of the incredible team in pink for working their magic, and helping us bring this event to Shropshire, you all rock! 💖

All week we’ve been in Newport for , testing out photo opps, filmed for the tele, admiring the drone shot of our field and even tucked into something tasty from 🍦

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR SHROPSHIRE PETAL FIELDS 🌻🌸🌼
🗓️ When
Shropshire Petal Fields opens on Friday 9th and closes on Sunday 18th August, 10:00am - 5:00pm each day. On Saturday 17th August, we are opening late from 5:30pm - 9:00pm.
📍 Where
Our flower field is located at Shropshire Petal Fields, Chadwell Lane (just off the A41), Newport, Shropshire TF10 9BD.
🎟️ Tickets
Tickets must be purchased in advance on our website here: www.shropshirepetalfields.co.uk
These are available in AM or PM slots, you can turn up anytime after your allotted time. AM tickets are for 10:00am onwards, PM tickets are 1:00pm onwards, and evening tickets for Saturday 17th August are 5:30pm onwards.
Last entry times: Morning tickets 12:30pm, afternoon tickets, 4:00pm, and evening tickets on Saturday 17th August 7:30pm.
Please have your tickets available (either on a phone or a printout) to show a member of our team on arrival into the car park. If you’re unable to find your tickets, please check your junk/spam folder, if you’re still unable to find them, please email [email protected].
🚗 Travel
Please use the postcode TF10 9BD when travelling to our Petal Fields. We will have yellow AA road signs in use directing you into our field once you are close.
Due to the nature of the ground being a little bumpy in places, we are advising a 5mph speed limit.
Our parking field is situated next to our flower fields, you will be directed to a space by a member of our team. There will be disabled parking available closer to the entrance of our petal fields.
♿️ Disabled & pushchair access
Due to the nature of the field, we kindly advise that the ground will be uneven and in places softer than expected. The field is accessible to wheelchair and pushchair users, but please be aware that movement around the field may be tricky in places.
Our additional Woodland walk won't be suitable and is not recommended for wheelchair users as there are slopes, dips, and stumps that would limit access.
🚾 Toilets
We will have toilets, an accessible toilet, and baby-changing facilities on site, these will be located in our picnic area. Thanks to Tiny Swimming for sponsoring our baby-changing area.
🐶 Dogs
We are hosting three dog-friendly days on Wednesday 14th, Saturday 17th, and Sunday 18th August, these are the only days that your four-legged friends are allowed into our fields, except for assistance dogs.
Please keep dogs on a short lead at all times, pick up after them, and avoid letting them into the flowers - there will be dedicated photography areas that your dogs will be able to sit and pose in.
Dogs are not allowed to be left in your car while you are attending, please only bring them along on our dog-friendly days.
🍽️ Food & Drink
We will have a cafe on-site serving light refreshments including hot drinks, cold drinks, and snacks, we will also be joined by The Shropshire Ice Cream Company.
You are more than welcome to bring along your own food and drink to tuck into, we have a dedicated picnic area underneath our tipis for you to sit and enjoy.
📸 Photography
We would love for you to take photos to send to friends and family, we’d love it even more if you could tag us on so we can see!
Throughout the fields, there will be dedicated areas cut into our fields that you can stop and take photos in, please avoid walking into our fields - we want our flowers to stay looking lovely for the visitors who will be coming after you. We will also have props around the fields such as butterfly wings, deckchairs, tractors, haybale sofas, and more for you to pose with.
The use of drones is not permitted in our fields.

👒 What to wear
This is a field so please wear sensible footwear, and plan for the weather forecast, whether that’s sun hats and sun cream, or wellies and an umbrella!
Each morning we will be posting an update of the field conditions on our Facebook and Instagram pages so you can plan ahead.
🌸 Flowers
Please do not pick our flowers during your time with us, we want them to stay looking lovely for visitors who will come along after you!
Our Petal Fields shop will be selling freshly harvested bouquets from an adjoining field in our picnic area so you’re able to take a souvenir home with you.

The flowers are looking colourful, the pathways are being created (thank you, Sid, for having nerves of steel driving that tractor through the petals) and our Woodland Walk is almost ready to go! We can’t wait to welcome you this Friday for 10 days of flower-filled fun ☀️
Our next event, Shropshire Petal Fields opens on Friday 🌸 🌼
Visitors can meander through acres of delphiniums, wildflowers, cornflower, and sunflowers, and explore our Wild Woodland Walk. As well as epic photo opportunities, we'll have a cafe serving light bites and refreshments, ice cream, and a picnic area full of vintage games and activities for your little ones.

🐎 JM Entertainment delivered an interactive horse racing game ready for a corporate event, and of course, we had to have a go!
🧡 We hosted the corporate entertainment tipi at Burwarton Show for Aaron & Partners
🪖 Clare enjoyed exploring the show and stumbled upon an army vehicle and the biggest cabbage she’d ever seen
🎉 Some of the team enjoyed a party for one of our festival family members at Buildwas Abbey and it was stunning
🎶 and if we were planning to release an album, this would be the cover art. 3 people, 2 chickens, and a dog 🤣

We’ve been busy hosting the Aaron & Partners corporate hospitality tipi, complete with refreshments and a pretty epic horse-themed racing game. The sun has been shining, and it’s been a great day!

Watch the sun go down in the most beautiful setting on Saturday 17th August. Our Petal Fields will be open for longer, giving you the chance to soak up the petals on a warm summer evening and take beautiful pictures in the sunset.
