If you've been to one of our previous events then you know what this weekend is all about – Casual gaming, friendly competition and challenges, meeting old friends, making new ones, music and a few shots! With altLAN, we aim to pack more of a punch to the Gaming Weekender; we have tried to remove most of the headaches. Sleeping in a bed, indoor showers, cooked breakfast each morning and all the ac

tion in one place with one price for everything. If you are looking for some serious e-sports we are not for you, no big money tournaments here. We don’t have YT “celebs” signing anything or doing talks. Our Gaming Weekender is about good times with friends and we love our special recipe for a LAN party, so come and try us out.

Not long now until our next event. This is our first one since Oct 2019!

Whatever your position and views, the world has been shaken to it's core over the last 18 months + and whilst we thought we'd all be ready for a proper release for altLAN August 2021, it appears that may not be the case.

We have sold just 17 of the minimum 24 tickets needed to break even in this format, and at this venue. We have a final deadline to meet this number by August 1st, else we'll have to cancel the event, both from a financial standpoint and one of entertainment and value for those that have got a ticket.

So, if you are on the fence, or thinking of buying a ticket late, following government announcements or for any other reason, stand tall and shout it from the rooftops, else the first Summer altLAN will be pushed back into the shade.

As always, those with tickets will be looked after should the event be cancelled.

The LAN Party Evolved

If you've been to one of our previous events then you know what this weekend is all about – we drink, we eat, we play games and make great memories. altLAN is a community meet-up at its heart, gaming is a hobby for most of us and one that fills a fair amount of our spare time. The altLAN events are a meeting place for some face to face time with those gamer’s you have been playing online with for years.

The party starts on a Friday, we aim to have the room dressed to impress and all working by 13:00 ish. Everyone has a desk space to setup there equipment, you don’t have to bring a computer or console but most do. We want everyone to feel welcome and included so as you arrive you are given a tour and introduced to all the staff you might also be given a shot from the teapot.

We light the fire-pit (outside) once sun goes down and run a selection of events on the stage, just for fun and everyone is entered automatically, games like Super Smash Bro or Overcooked. We keep a leader board and give out awards normally in the form of alcohol. altLAN is an over 18’s event btw.

On Saturday morning we load you up with some breakfast which is always included in the ticket price and start the day with music and stage games around noon. We setup some off stage events also with games like FIFA or timed events on games like Trials Fusion.
