Wow, what a superb evening at Newton Abbot Rugby Club. The fireworks were a blast and were enjoyed by the masses!
It's always a great night and it was awesome seeing lots of our customers and meeting new who tucked in to a pulled pork roll with stuffing and apple sauce which was served in a freshly baked Shaldon Bakery bap. See you all again in 2025 🤪

You supplied it and we cooked it...
Last Saturday we cooked prime joints of beef which Simon and Fliss reared and supplied from their South Hams farm nr Kingsbridge and it doesn't get anymore local than that!
Wow, the beef was amazing and was very well received alongside our fresh salads and roast potatoes Congratulations Simon and Fliss x

What a superb wedding at Buckland House last weekend. Natalia & Ellen choose Burrata personlised boards as a starter followed by mixed meats amd and array of salads served to the lucky 80 guests. This was followed by Lemon Curd Cheesecake, Black Cherry & Kirsch Truffle Torte and Sticky Toffee Pudding and finally a cheese board with a selection of crackers and fruit. A special thanks go out to Dan, Sonia, Karen, Craig and the 3 wonderful Buckland staff who helped with table service.

Having arrived at 8am to prep and cook a perfect roasted Hog for 3.30pm, we're currently enjoying the view and peace before the bride and groom arrive with their family and friends. Today, it's the special day of Tom and Laura at the beautiful barn that is at Sturtlebury Barn nr Kingsbridge. A simple Hog with roast potatoes and salads will take centre stage and satisfy all!

With a view like this, why wouldn't you! Last weekend, we catered for the beautiful Izzy and George on their wedding day. Canapés with bubbles started the day off followed by petsonlised starter boards before mixed meats meat boards, salads and toast potatoes. If this wasn't enough, everyone still managed a selection of our fresh desserts which included Honeycomb Cheesecake, Lemon meringue and Black Cherry & Kirsch Truffle Torte with double cream
Thanks to Sonia and Dan (chef's) and Caroline and Carolyne who helped provide the table service.

The weekend was wrapped up with Dan cooking a clients own reared pig at their local business known as Amelias Flower Farm. The event was to thank friends and family for their support with the farm and nothing is better than keeping all the ingredients local.
Not a bad way to spend your Sunday with a view like this!

We also catered for beautiful wedding in Budleigh Salterton and where better than having your friends and family help celebrate than in your home back garden. Dan cooked a whole lamb with salads and roasties which went down a treat with homemade mint sauce.

We also catered for Megan and Rory in the South Hams village of Harberton. Nice and local for us which meant we could a nice cold beer within 30 mins of pack up :-) A perfectly cooked Hog was complimented with a selection of salads and garlic and rosemary roast potatoes. The guests than had a the difficult chore of choosing their dessert with options that included Baked lemon curd cheesecake, Sticky toffee pudding, Fruit and apple lattice pie and brownie with fresh raspberries....

On Saturday we catered for 2 events. The first was for a family get together at a beautiful holiday complex known as Higher Wiscombe. A Hog with roasties and salads for 30 hungry guests was followed by luxury apple and berry pie plus baked lemon curd cheesecake!
The 2nd event was for the newly weds Jack and Becky who celebrated their special day at . Thank you for trusting us with your catering and look forward to seeing you all again soon.

The beautiful couple Louise and Sam got married in Whimple and then celebrated back at one of our favourite venue's that is Farm. Personalised Boards kicked the catering off with a Hog Roast to follow with roasties and salads to balance. In the evening, Dan baked a perfect mac 'n' cheese from fresh which was demolished by the eager guests ahead of a lively party 🥳

Busy weekend, week, month and year!
Today we catered for Craig and Lloyd who wanted a personal catering service to toast Lloyd's work finish date for business ventures new. Canapés were selected which were a big hit by all followed by our signature mixed meats with a twist. Instead of Pork loins, the clients specically wanted belly pork to be 1 of the 4 meats offered. Chef Dan made his secret legendary herb mix,which he rubs into the belly pork, which infused the meat to perfection leaving all the lucky guests un ore!

On Saturday, we catered for an existing clients daughter's special day in Holcombe. Rhianna and Tom actually got married in March, but why not celebrate twice and in the garden of their parents house with friends and family! Canapés help kick off the party, followed by a Hog Roast with roast potatoes and an array of salads. Love to all ...🤵‍♂👰‍♀💑

"We used THRC for our wedding in May. It has taken us a few months to process our incredible day and that is hugely thanks to the wonderful catering!! Words cannot express how delicious and amazing the food served by the Hog Roast Caterers was. We’ve had so so so many comments from our guests about how delicious all of the food was and how friendly and fun the staff were cooking and serving. They really did make the vision of how we would feed our wedding guests come to life. The pork belly, pizzas and desserts were a particular hit and we are still getting compliments about them months later!!! We cannot thank Paul and his team enough!
