Mr Croquewich was launched by chef Darren Lewis (AKA Mr Croquewich!) in 2014, having spent 5 years cooking with beautiful cheeses in the French alps and on his return working as head chef in bistro and brasserie style restaurants, his passion for all things that melt saw him venturing into the street food scene. Since then we have dished out our cheesy delights at festivals, street food events, food festivals, weddings and private parties near and far.
We serve croque monsieur style grilled cheese sandwiches crammed full of homemade fillings, sauces and of course mounds of cheese. Made using our bespoke sourdough loaf and locally sourced seasonal ingredients they are oozing with cheesy goodness! We have a range of over thirty sandwiches that are ever evolving and we love nothing more than inventing new fillings and discovering new cheeses along the way.
