Converge:Diverge is an exhibition that follows the path of the two Ayrshire artists, Gordon Cockburn and Ronald Rae who met in the 1970’s and became lifelong friends. Both artists recognised a desire to capture the heights and depths of the human soul, exploring subjects outwith the mainstream.
Converge Diverge challenges the viewer in its confronting depictions of human intimacy, tenderness and also suffering. Described as dark and haunting but critically engaging and important, this show should not be missed!
