Team Mums Kitchen CIC had 2 successful run at University of Warwick on Monday's in partnership with Food Intercept - Enactus Warwick team providing students & staff healthy lunch prepared from surplus food items by traders. Thanks everyone for supporting Mums Kitchen CIC in 2018 and our team is grateful for the positive feedback we received. 2018 has been an year of reflection and planning for better and bigger vision for us. We will be working on our 4 pillars in 2019 - Sustainability, Employability, Mental Wellbeing & Connecting Communities. We hope we will keep getting the love and support of people of Coventry which will enable us to work harder and better. 2019 will bring new beginning so more exciting news will be shared so watch the space and follow us. We will be launching our website, new menu and announcing new partnerships. 2019 will be working together and connecting through food. I met Jannvi Tanna & her team Sophie Food Intercept - Enactus Warwick and Tom Enactus Warwick on Friday to explore opportunities to work together to stop food waste and to provide our mums opportunities to cook food to sell and also to learn more skills on food processing by making pickles, jams and chutneys. It was lovely to meet these young people so committed and passionate about what they do.
