Ready for day 2 at Comic Con Liverpool had an Amazing day yesterday, had so much fun up and down the queues. Everyone one was so nice. If you see me today do say hello and let’s get some pictures. So the New year is upon us and no doubt that many of us will be making new years resolutions that we only half intend to keep, at least for a couple of days anyway.

It's nice to reflect on your life, your habits and look to your future to attempt to improve or change for the better.

2023 has had its ups and downs for me,
But one thing I always come back to in my outlook on life is that there are a lot of things that you can't change no matter how hard you try.
Life is about perspective so keep those that mean the most, closest to you. Do the best you can to make the world a better place but know when to walk away from toxic situations and don't look back.
That in itself will bring much so much positivity in to your life.

This year I will be back doing the things I love with the people that I love doing it with.

So happy new year to all my friends and family, and I look forward to seeing you all in the new year xx

The Christmas Dream

Where’s the Christmas spirit gone? Oh it’s over there
It’s in my mam and in my dad, that’s sitting on the chair
Dad will wear his paper crown and pull a Christmas cracker
He’ll roll a ciggie from his tin of old Holborn to***co

And then the family settle down, for the main meal of the day
And mam will do the washing up, then put the stuff away
We’ll all sit down arm in arm and watch the royal speech
The Queens address to the commonwealth
A few million she will reach

Then it’s Star Wars, doctor who or even a girlie flick
It doesn’t matter, its Christmas day whichever one you pick
Of course, this poem isn’t true
As some loved one’s are not here
But it’s Christmas We’re allowed to dream
Merry Xmas and happy New Year
