Yesterday we were sharing some of our foodie love at stunning
Coton House Farm Wedding Venue following the marriage of Danielle & Alan🍾🥂

Our gorgeous couple chose our brand new
'bar snacks baskets' during reception drinks🍿🫒
followed by a traditional grazing table for their wedding breakfast 🍇🫛🍎🍅🧀🥕

During the evening guests tucked in to handmade chicken, ham & leek pie, and steak & potato pie with mushy peas from Marks family butchers

Danielle & Alan's wish was for a super relaxed day, the food they chose along with this amazing venue were the perfect combination for just that.

Wishing you both a life time of love, health and happiness, it's been such a pleasure, thank you for asking us to be part of your special day ❤️

🍇🍅🫛🧀Our beautiful oak sharing platters for 2 were such a hit at last years weddings, we can't wait for their outings again in '25.

The first 4 photos show examples of both our menus, Mediterranean inspired and Traditonal.

Many of our couples prefer a mix of menus which is no problem at all.

These photos show the platters we present to the top table (rectangular) as they are normally trestle tables. Other platters have been cut at angles so that they fit on a circular table (photo 5)

In this case ramekins of hummus, homemade slaw, homemade chutney etc depending on your choices will be dotted around each table and slices of handmade freshly baked bread will be served to each guest.

Our platters for 2 have been lovingly made by Mark to fit circular tables seating up to 10 guests and are presented on feet to elevate your graze.

Not one of my normal posts but still I felt having this wonderful platform to bring awareness is a must.

It was World Cancer day on Tuesday but I didn't get chance to write this post so here goes......

On 14th January I found a breast lump following our wonderful holiday in Gran Canaria.
I contacted my Drs surgery and was seen that same afternoon.
The care I received was second to none.

If a lump is found and further investigations are needed there is up to a 2 week wait for an appointment at the breast care clinic.

Although this is an agonising wait, in the grand scheme of things it's such a short time as the NHS continue to be under so much pressure.

My appointment came through for 27th January, I had a mammogram which was painless and an ultra sound scan, again painless, at this stage I was told thankfully it wasn't cancer but had done the absolute right thing following this up.
The care I received again was second to none.

My Mum had grade 3 breast cancer 25 years ago and is still here and as fiesty today as she's always been. The care she received was second to none.

My lump has a happy ending so my message to you is check regularly and attend your mammogram appointments, (I had my last one in July 2024) any changes go and see your Doctor without hesitation.

Those who know me know I was given more than my fair share in the b***s department, I check regulary and even encourage Mr W to check his as gents too can develop breast cancer.

This story shows you how life can change in an instant but there was light at the end of the tunnel.

As we've had some enquiries already for Valentine's & Mother's Day this year I thought I'd pop an update on socials.

Sadly we won't be able to offer our delicious delights this year as we have other catering commitments....on both dates we will be attending a wonderful wedding spreading our foodie love❤️
