And just check out Lesley last night ‘burying a sausage’ - If you’re a big fan of superstitions and traditions, burying a sausage can help warn off bad weather. Yep, you read that right, burying a sausage is said to somehow help guarantee glorious weather on your big day. 🤞🤞 for a bonnie banks outside ceremony 🤞🤞 even better when it’s a Scottish Lorne eh 😂😂

It was baby Eli’s naming day on 28.07.24 and the THIRD time I’ve conducted a ceremony with this lovely family.

I had the pleasure in 2018 to conduct Jacob and Oliver’s Naming ceremony, then in 2020, Grant and Rachel’s wedding ceremony. Such an honour.

Mum & Dad ‘wetted Eli’s head’ (not literally btw) by toasting to his future and also used their wedding day Quaich to do that.

And Eli’s brother Oliver read a beautiful poem, with Jacob next to him as support.

Topping things off was a ‘wish tree’ gesture. All the guests got a chance throughout the afternoon to write a ‘wish tag’ and place on the tree. A wee message for Eli to read in the future.

All in all, an amazing occasion all round. Thank you so much my Riley family friends. See you all soon 🤓
