We’ve had many enquiries about the Shrewsbury Flea dates for this year, so we wanted to update you all. Unfortunately, none of the available dates at West Mid Showground align with our plans for running Shrewsbury Flea in 2025.

The Showground is incredibly busy with large festivals and camping rallies, which must take priority for their continued success (which is wonderful with them being a charity). Additionally, we’ve carefully considered other factors, such as clashes with other fairs (including Oswestry), and feel that running a flea market under these circumstances wouldn’t be beneficial for anyone.

This decision isn’t permanent, and we’ll revisit the possibility of Shrewsbury Flea returning in 2026. In the meantime, don’t forget we still have Oswestry Antique & Collectors Fair happening four times this year – we’d love to see you there!

A big thank you to all the traders and visitors for your understanding and support after the unfortunate cancellation of the Oswestry Winter Antiques Fair last weekend.

After monitoring the weather closely in Oswestry over the weekend, we truly believe it was the safest choice. But now it's time to look ahead and think of the new year! We can’t wait to welcome you back in February and make 2025 a fantastic. Please note, due to last weekend’s cancellation, we've made a small adjustment to our 2025 dates. 📢IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: OSWESTRY ANTIQUE & COLLECTORS FAIR CANCELLED📢

It is with great regret that we must announce the cancellation of the Oswestry Antique & Collectors Fair scheduled for this weekend, 7th & 8th December. While we’ve weathered storms in the past, the forecast of 67mph gusts presents an unworkable and dangerous situation for everyone involved. Safety is, and always will be, our top priority, and this decision has not been taken lightly.

An Amber Weather Warning has been issued for the entirety of Shropshire, with the storm officially named. To have to cancel not one but two fairs in a single year due to extreme weather is unprecedented, but these are the times we’re facing.

In light of this, we’ve made changes to next year’s fair dates to better navigate these unpredictable conditions.

The new dates for Oswestry are as follows:
✅22nd /23rd February
✅12th / 13th April
✅7th / 8th June
✅25th & 26th October (replacing 20th & 21st September and 6th & 7th December).

Your unwavering support means the world to us, and we cannot thank you enough for standing by us through these challenges. We look forward to welcoming you back on 22nd & 23rd February, where—dare we say—it might just be 30 degrees and sunny! Who knows 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♂️
