Have you booked your tickets for the Hadleigh French Music and Dance Weekend, April 25th -27th 2025?
We are looking forward to welcoming Bargainatt from France to headline the weekend, with support from Tonik, Bof! and Tom & Emma Hardy.
Weekend tickets are selling well and from February 3rd, it will be possible to book for individual workshops and bals.

Hadleigh French Dance and Music Weekend 2025
10th Anniversary
April 25-27

Booking is now open for our 10th Hadleigh French Dance and Music Weekend.
Venue: The Ansell Centre, Market Place, Hadleigh, Suffolk, IP7 5DL
We will be pleased to welcome the band, Bargainatt. These musicians take their inspiration from the dances of various regions of France that matter to them, trying their best to respect the subtleties and traditions of these regions. They will play tunes from the Auvergne to Bretagne, via Poitou and Gascogne. They will play for two bals and teach a dance and a music workshop

They will be supported by Bof! – our local favourites who specialise in traditional French and Breton music for dancing, Tonik - who have played dance music from Brittany, Central and South West France, for dances and workshops in SE England and France; and Tom and Emma Hardy who organise the music for Pret a Danser

If you you have a thing for music and dance from across the Channel, FolkEast 2024 has something on every day for you-

"Across in the dance tent FolkEast has conjured up a European flavour with a swirling line-up including BOF! with their French and Breton music, and two bands featuring accordion virtuoso Andy Cutting – the ever popular Anglo- French outfit Topette!, celebrating 10 years together and the long-established Blowzabella described as “an English folk band that makes an inimitable, drone-based wall-of-sound.”
