I love colour, always have, always will but the tones in a monochrome shot in the right environment can be so emotive 🤍

1 week married🤍

I can’t believe that it’s already been a whole week since this lovely pair had their special day!

My comeback couple. It’s been a minute since I’ve taken the time to jump on and share anything as life’s been crazyyyy but, here I am.

This wedding was perfection! And it seems fitting to share it today whilst I’m shooting my first wedding back as a Mrs as this was the last I shot as a Miss! 🤍

Being part of the creative industry is a blessing and a curse. When things don’t go to plan, it’s near impossible to not take it personally. When you love your craft, it stings when things go off plan.

The second week of January I found out I was being made redundant from my ‘day job’. A photography position I’ve held for 7 years. A position I carved out of no where through hard work and dedication. Far from ideal in a year of so many happy and exciting plans!

I toyed with the idea of organising a styled shoot to keep me going on gardening leave but as I was having a serious creative wobble I hid away. Then I spoke with some industry friends and thought it was time to end my pity party.

I cannot thank my little team from this shoot enough, bringing the energy, dedication and going ALL out with only 3 weeks notice. If that doesn’t tell you how dedicated they are, then look at the results for how frigging insane they are.
