Just a week to go and, after almost 22 years, we have our last concert in our folk club programme. Are you coming? Tickets available on our website link or direct by booking by phone with Kathy.
We do have something rather special for this gig with the amazing Banter and, in support, an amazing new Celtic Band TOR who are based in North Dorset.
Both Kathy and myself, plus our staff, look forward to welcoming everyone.

Wessex Acoustic Folk Club have become well known for putting on quality support acts and Tor are no exception ,two sets of Uilleann pipes and strong guitar work from Alex Percy will certainly rock the legion as they Support a return to Blandford of Banter one of the UKs finest ceilidh bands in Concert form. Have you got your tickets yet as this will be a very busy night..

3 weeks to go, Topping the bill, RIBBLE are a delightful duo, currently based in Salisbury, but hailing from Lincolnshire. Adam and Pete play fiddle and guitar, playing unique versions of traditional and contemporary tunes with a strong Celtic influence. It will be hard to keep your feet still. They had a large section of the audience up and dancing at the New Forest Folk Festival last year. Supporting them will be club favourite Gerry Colvin in solo form..

All are busy at Wessex Acoustic, and we are off to Fairports Cropredy Festival to sort some future concerts , please come and chat to Issy or Myself . Things are well in hand for our big mayors charity concert with The Bennet Arms Semley again providing our Bar along with Wriggle Brewery from Stalbridge, serving fine local Ale and fine wines . .
