Exciting Progress at the Hub!

One of my final tasks before we wrapped up for the holidays was getting the floor painted in the hub 🎨. It’s officially done and will need a few days to dry completely. Once we’re back after the holidays, it’s full steam ahead to get this space up and running—aiming for mid-January! 🚀

We’re still brainstorming ideas for the space, and your suggestions are always welcome. Here’s what we’re planning so far:
🎮 PlayStation & Xbox zones
💻 PC gaming stations
🏎️ Racing simulators
🌍 Virtual reality experiences
☕ A cozy coffee area
🎱 A pool table
🎲 A retro gaming section

Of course, someone also suggested a dartboard 🎯…but let’s just say health and safety might have something to say about that! (Nice try though 😂).

🚨🎮 Fortnite Update Alert! 🎮🚨

Hey gamers! We wanted to give you a quick heads-up about something that’s been happening with Fortnite updates recently! 🕹️✨

📅 Unpredictable Updates:
Epic Games has been dropping Fortnite updates at totally random times lately! ⏰ Before, they would release updates on specific days (usually Thursdays), which made it super easy for us to get the trucks plugged in and updated overnight. 🌙 But recently, the updates have been arriving at all sorts of times—even during the day! 😅

🎄 Winterfest Update:
Today, we turned on the consoles bright and early at 8:30 AM, and everything was good to go. By lunchtime, a HUGE update had dropped! 🎅🎁 This is likely part of Fortnite’s Winterfest Update, officially released on December 10th. Based on previous years, we’re expecting more follow-up updates in the coming days and weeks, which can also be quite big! 🚀

⏳ What This Means for Your Party:
We always work hard to make sure Fortnite is ready to go for your event because we KNOW how much everyone loves it! ❤️ But sometimes, these unexpected updates can take a little longer to download and install. In rare cases, updates have even dropped halfway through a party. This is completely out of our control, as it’s all down to Epic Games.

🕹️ No Fortnite? No Problem!
Even if Fortnite isn’t available for a short time, there are still hundreds of other awesome games to choose from on the truck! 🎉 We’ll always do our best to get Fortnite back up and running as quickly as possible, but rest assured, the fun will never stop! 😄🎮
