Mallorca Baby 🏝️

After a mega week in Girona with the Struggle Training Camp gang, we’re counting down the days to March to see this lot again.

Fancy joining the Struggle Training Camp squad? We’ve got 5 different groups for riders of varying abilities. Solo travellers, couples and groups of mates are all welcome.

We’ve got a packed itinerary including the bus out, bike back cross-island traverse which was a favourite ride for everyone last March.

Girona 24’

We had an amazing week in Girona with a great bunch of people. It is the people that make this week, we do all the prep but it is so fun enjoying days out on the bike with the crew!

Breakfast at hotel, Coffee Club for a quick flat white, Ride all day with a cafe stop, back to Girona for a Radlers and then into Girona for dinner - it is the whole package and we had a blast!

Our next camp is in Mallorca 14-21st March 2025 and we are taking bookings. We will have five ability groups and a great way to get fit for the summer and events ahead!

The last hurrah was a 100km cafe ride out to Pals, followed by an afternoon spent shopping, mooching and drinking coffee in the old town.

We then returned to for the final team dinner and awards night.

Spanish Ton photo dump

Mega for all three groups with a 100 mile ride to Cadaques, via St. Pete de Roda climb which was a 8km climbs with amazing views up to the top and down the other side into El Port de La Selva.

There were a number of riders who did their longest rider ever today - Chapeau!

Tonight we had all the calories and due to a mistake with the order, smashed cheeseburger & chips twice 😋

Rest Day Vibes

30mile super easy ride to Banyoles for a double coffee stop on the the lake. It was a super relaxed ride with us mixing up the groups both ways.

Everyone had the full afternoon to walk the famous Girona wall, hit the bike shops, surf the coffee shops or just relax and sit outside the hotel just soaking up some VitD!

In the evening we enjoyed a great sharing tapas style meal with some impressive salads, salt stone sharing burgers and an assiette of desserts. Fun was had and we roll again for our 100miler to Cadaques 👊

Girona 24’

Both groups did a 68mile ride to Susqueda Dam for some awesome blue sky day photos.

Tough climb out from the Dam and then onto St.Hilari climb for final 15km to the top and then a mega lunch stop.

The amazing descent down and then we rolled back via Brunyola into Girona.

Shakedown 🫨

We kicked off our 2024 Struggle Girona Training Camp with a shakedown ride for our morning arrivals ✈️

A gentle 40 mile spin through some quiet local lanes and gentle ascents to check over the bike, loosen the plane legs and get everyone used to riding on the right hand side of the road.

We have 80% returning riders which is great to see, and 20% new guests doing a Struggle camp for the first time.

What a day in the National Park 😍

160 riders joined us at Sutton Bank for a road, gravel or family day out on the bike.

The ethos was to slow down, look up and enjoy the views and to also bring friends and family along to ride with you.

The ride was open to every bike and every rider. It was fab to see lots of families come along.
