One more day to the best Chinese New Year event around at Wai Yee Hong Chinese Supermarket. There are two performances this year and so many things to see (and eat). See you there!

Wai Yee Hong’s annual Lunar New Year celebrations, on 10th February 2024, raises money for Wallace & Gromit's Grand Appeal, and will welcome the Year of the Dragon. This family event is FREE to attend and will feature dance and martial arts performances as well as the traditional lion dance. To ensure that more people get to enjoy our New Year celebrations, there will be 2 performance times this year; 11am and 1.30pm.

I had the best time this past weekend. First of all, it doesn't get more Bristol than balloons and I was lucky enough to see my first ascent from a prime viewpoint face painting at the Teenage Cancer Trust Wales and South West tent on Friday and Sunday with the amazing Jo Jo's facepainting and Sian Norman: we painted, braided and glittered so many faces and had a great time catching up with our friends from Party Peeps - Children's Party Entertainment into the bargain. Thanks so everyone who came and queued so patiently and had their face painted. Jo and I even ended up on Radio Bristol with Jo painting their presenter live on air!

On Saturday I was painting at the Encanto dance party at The Brightwell in Bradley Stoke and really enjoyed the entertainment and meeting the supporters.
