*ANNOUNCEMENT*

A HUGE thank you to all of the amazing couples who entered the competition, reading through your stories moved and touched every single supplier involved. It was such a tough decision choosing our winner but on Monday we surprised this very special couple with the news that they’re now getting married next year! It was a truly magical moment which brought us all to tears.

Kelly and Tim are a nurse and firefighter from Greenhithe, they’ve been together for nine years and have two beautiful children. Kelly’s best friend filled in the application for the competition when Kelly was incredibly unwell after she contracted COVID. With Kelly so unwell and Tim working throughout the pandemic, they were supported by family with caring for their two children. Thankfully Kelly is well now and the family are all back home together where they belong.

The Kent NHS Wedding team can not wait to help Kelly and Tim plan their wedding for next year!

Congratulations to the bride and groom to be!

H E L L O 👋 | I've not really introduced myself before, but there's been an influx of new people lately so thought I'd best say hi...I'm Natalie, thanks for joining me!

Peacock+Pearl was a long time coming...before I started it, I was educated and worked as a physicist in various different areas for over ten years, plus a stint in finance 😱 I really wanted to be my own boss for a long time, but it was being diagnosed with fibromyalgia that really gave me that push! I needed something that I could do on my own schedule to get the best out of my body everyday.

That realisation came not long after Mr P+P and I had gotten married, and while I'd liked the headpiece and accessories I'd found for our big day, I didn't LOVE them. I couldn't find that elegance with a twist of alternative, and they weren't completely me. I'd always sewn, embroidered and made jewellery as a hobby...so Peacock+Pearl was born, with the express purpose of making different bridal accessories, for unique brides, to express THEIR style on THEIR wedding day.

So if this sounds all too familiar (maybe not the physics/fibro/employment angst part...I'm best at helping with weddings! 😂) drop us a message, and let's create some heirloom pieces that are perfect for you! ❤
