OUR / / final wedding of 2024 was definitely one to remember! ✨ M&J's day featured a beautiful church ceremony, lots of dramatic fog, pretty festive details and personal touches - including table decorations hand-painted by one of their bridesmaids - a jaw-dropping first dance and a special brass band performance... The most wonderful time of the year, indeed! 🤍

FIRST / / looks aren't just for whoever is walking you down the aisle... You can also share them with your other half, stealing a few quiet moments together to take it all in. A&M shared a dance in their ceremony room before their guests arrived, which was so special to capture! ✨

Here are a few reasons why a first look might be a good idea for you:

~ If you're having a twilight or Winter wedding, you can get your couple portraits done at the same time, while there's plenty of light, which also means more time to hang out with your guests during your drinks reception.

~ The same applies if you've got a sunshine-filled morning but rain predicted later on - smash out those photos while it's dry and then head onto your ceremony.

~ Feeling particularly anxious about walking down, or waiting at the top of, the aisle? A few moments together to feel all those 'first look' emotions privately can help the nerves and make you more comfortable going into the ceremony itself.

~ It means you'll get more time together on your wedding day, which is something that always ends up slipping away so damn quickly! Every second counts during such a day that will inevitably fly by.

~ You can head over to your ceremony space to see your vision and all that planning come to life, together.

A first look might not be a good fit for you, but it can also work really well when planned properly. There's no 'right' way when it comes to weddings, only the best way for you. Would you have a first look with your other half? 🤍

WHAT / / a gorgeous wedding R&D had yesterday! These two have literally spent years finding their way back to each other from a mutual teenage crush to creating a gorgeous family and finally tying the knot, surrounded by their nearest and dearest, in a truly emotional ceremony. This was one heck of special day for our penultimate wedding of the year (and gosh, those festive touches throughout were so lovely) and we had the most wonderful time capturing it. 🤍

K&C's wedding back in August was so special & beautifully intimate, and we adored capturing the bride's accessories beforehand. 🤍
It's our little boy's 6th birthday today, so we've had a brilliant weekend celebrating with him. We're having a little family get-together for him this evening with yet more cake, but we'll be glued to our screens again from tomorrow! Next up for photo, we've got J&D and for video, it's S&R. 💫

We don’t believe those words are enough justice for how perfectly you captured our special day, how do you even put into words how two people who you have only met a couple of times can not only be such an important part of the biggest day in your life but also have those instant connections that make you feel like you have known one another a lifetime and also know us both as individuals and as a couple inside out.

For us, having you there really felt like we had family capturing our day, Ben the cheeky brother jumping over walls to get the shot and keeping secret things safe for Charlotte, and Amy the best sister who was our number one fan capturing every moment even the ones we didn’t even realise we were having...

The time and effort you both have spent capturing our day and editing this together to make the most perfect album and video for us to relive our day is beyond what we could have imagined. How you can bring back such warmth, love and joy from a moment that goes by within the blink of an eye is truly amazing.

We will forever be so very grateful that you not only captured our day but also got to spend it with us and made it so much more memorable. From our stumbles through the corn fields to our race around the tracks, every photo we have is not only a memory of our day but a memory of you guys being a part of it.

You guys really are the best, and we can not think of a better duo to not only have captured our wedding day but hopefully more special moments to come. For us, it wasn’t saying goodbye, more like we’ll see you soon. Until the next 'time capsule'."
