We wanted to celebrate our Golden Wedding at home in our garden and contacted Chloe from Daffodil Event Planning at the outset. She offered a no obligation initial meeting where she was very supportive of our initial plan and creative with ideas of her own. From then on she helped with every detail , suggesting caterers , music , tipi hire etc . She managed all the contracts so that we were not bothered by questions and details, which we really appreciated.
Chloe offered to come along and be there for the party day and was just a fantastic help setting up final details with a very stylish welcome board ,setting out the tables and welcoming the caterers , band , bar staff etc . She also worked with our children, at their request, to arrange some lovely moments during the party , we knew nothing about this until they happened!
Chloe enabled us to have an amazing and memorable party in our own garden with a fabulous live band , great catering and a very stylish look to the whole event. Most of all she made it possible for us to just enjoy our evening whilst she handled all the details.
We would wholeheartedly recommend Chloe to anyone looking for a really personal and professional service to organize their event.

YES, this has happened at weddings I have attended as a guest - it’s most certainly something I find extremely frustrating!

🌼✨ What I, as a wedding planner WOULD CHANGE about my wedding day…….. ✨🌼

Reflecting on my own magical autumnal tipi wedding, I can’t help but share some insights as a wedding planner. While our day was a dream come true, there are a few things I’d change if I could do it all over again.

Firstly, let’s talk coordination. Oh, how I wish I had someone else to handle the logistics!

Instead of fully embracing the moment, I found myself worrying about suppliers and timing. That’s where a coordinator would have been a game-changer.

Consider this your sign to prioritise peace of mind and let someone else take the reins on your big day.

Next up, DIY vs. professional styling.

While I adored the personal touches of our DIY approach, I can’t help but think how it would’ve been with a stylist’s touch. Who knew setting up everything yourself could have turned into a dilemma?

That story is for another day! 😂😅

🌼🌼 DAFFODIL TIP ALERT 🌼🌼
Some tips for your bridal party for the GETTING READY wedding day morning.

1. Take off bras, jewellery and hair bands to prevent those pesky red marks
2. Wear robes or slip off Pyjamas to lower the risk of smudging make up and ruining your hair (these also look cute for the photos)
3. Don’t forget to eat! Put on a small spread (nothing crazy) to make sure that everyone has eaten something. It’ll be a long time until you eat again.
4. Music! Get that playlist created before the wedding morning - you can put that playlist on and not worry about picking up your phone
5. Pop that beautiful engagement ring onto the other hand before the ceremony 🫶

Well, it all started after my husband and I finally said 'I do' in a dreamy September of 2022. Picture this – an enchanting autumnal DIY tipi wedding nestled in the gorgeous village of Harringworth.
