Our estate looks stunning all year round, but there is something uniquely enchanting about The Dairy in winter.

Winter weddings have gained so much in popularity in recent years and we can’t wait to see The Dairy transformed into a warm and inviting atmosphere this winter for our lovely couples! From roaring fireplaces to frosty lakes, Waddesdon really is the most magical place.

Nestled amongst our beautiful estate, Windmill Hill is often used for corporate away days, providing an inspiring escape from the office. The location holds three unique spaces including the Reading Room which is the perfect setting for larger presentations and meetings, the Orangery, an excellent space for drinks receptions and dining which has impressive views of Buckinghamshire and the Bawden Room which is a great space for smaller intimate meetings and as a breakout room.

We work with a curated list of suppliers and can provide a variety of catering options, from a light lunch to a five-course tasting menu.

And for those travelling afar, The Five Arrows hotel, at the gates of our estate has 16 luxurious bedrooms with a 2 AA Rosette restaurant, ensuring an enjoyable stay for your team throughout your event.

The Wintergarden… A space made predominantly out of glass that bathes in natural light, offering a captivating view of the surrounding landscape. This versatile space boasts double doors that open out onto our beautiful lake and charming terrace.

We have seen the Wintergarden transformed in so many different ways, from a romantic ceremony, an elegant dining experience and even a nightclub for an unforgettable after party!

The wintergarden comfortably accommodates:
• 110 guests for a drinks reception
• 80 guests for dining
• 100 guests in theatre style seating.

Experience the unique charm and flexibility of the Wintergarden at The Dairy and make your event truly unforgettable.
Please note the Wintergarden Is only available as part of the exclusive hire of the dairy.

We adore these pictures of Jamie and Sheridan from their wedding earlier this month!

With guests from all over the world, Jamie and Sheridan had the most perfect day, starting with their ceremony in the courtyard, drinks reception by the lake followed by a stunning wedding breakfast in the west hall!

A day full of so much love, laughter, dancing and an incredible list of suppliers and planners who made it all possible❤️

One of our most unique event spaces, Windmill hill has cutting edge art and architecture, spectacular views and great spaces for events and conferences. This building celebrates the conservation and environmental work of the Rothschild Foundation as well as being the archives of Waddesdon Manor, the Waddesdon Estate and the members of the Rothschild family who have owned or are responsible for Waddesdon from 1874 until the present day.

As an environmentally controlled venue, Windmill Hill specialises as a centre of excellence in sustainability and looking forward, often bringing together thinkers from around the world to discuss the responsible development and deployment of headline topics.

This unique venue is available for exclusive hire, offering 3 spaces with capacities ranging from 14 to 100:
The reading room is the largest room and provides an excellent space for meetings and presentations.
Sitting alongside the reading room, you find the orangery, which fills itself with natural light from the huge windows and is the perfect space for drinks receptions and dining.
Lastly, the Bawden room, the smallest of the 3 spaces, which offers the ideal space for smaller, intimate meetings or breakrooms.

So far the 2024 wedding season has been magical!
Georgie and Hector are one of the gorgeous couples that have recently married at The Dairy.

Their wedding showcased the amazing grounds, with their ceremony by the lake. Followed by the most special wedding breakfast in the west hall with dancing in between courses and speeches to finish.🫶🏼

Our unique wedding cake sculpture by the incredible has made the perfect backdrop for these spring and summer weddings!

Georgie and Hector finished the day with drinks, dancing and an awesome band in the south hall, making the most perfect use of the whole venue🪩. We are obsessed and are so excited for the rest of the 2024 wedding season!!

The Dairy cottage🏡

Included within your venue hire at The Dairy, our charming cottage is situated on site, with two generous double bedrooms, a spacious dining room, fully equipped kitchen and living area.

The cottage is the perfect space for your bridal party to get ready and enjoy a few pre-wedding drinks or an idyllic setting for you and your partner the night of your wedding!

If you’re looking for a countryside escape, the dairy cottage is also available to book through The Five Arrows hotel!

Nessus, our young Centaur dressed for the occasion in the Wintergarden at The Dairy! For this event, the entire venue was transformed by and partners with the Wintergarden having a magical underwater Poseidon theme featuring a giant kraken 🐙 centrepiece - handmade by Amie’s phenomenal team - as a bar where worked their magic with the most lavish cocktails 🍹🍸 🧜‍♀️ along with the most unique canapés from served in ways never seen before including on fish tanks full of corals and underwater treasures! 🐠 🐟 🪸 An amazing entrance for our guests.

The past few weeks have brought The Dairy to life in a way that it has never been seen before, in a collaboration with floral and event designer, Amie Bone for her epic masterclass, gala dinner and charity ball, Fantasia! 🐍

The events industry is all about working with great people who have the drive to create something wonderful for guests to experience and for Fantasia we’ve had 25 leading events businesses come together to do just that. An amazing achievement for our Private Events team here at Waddesdon!
