Welcome to the new to this page & im sorry if you followed a long time ago and you’re hating the fact that you just got a notification but please read on as I’m truly grateful.

To you old followers I just want to say thanks so much for the support during that weird time of the pandemic but by following this page you allowed me to continue doing what I love doing for a living in difficult times and I’ll be eternally grateful for that.

For new followers I’ve had to post to keep this page live and there are literally hundreds (maybe loads not hundreds but felt like it) of free tutorials of magic tricks and me talking about magic you can go through and learn the basics of magic as a hobby and I want to keep that alive, hence the post.

For those regular tuners in to the Zoom Live Magic random babble sessions that have the slightest bit of interest; the three that were Beth, Frank & Me are now a 5 of Beth, Frank, Me, Dora (2 & 4 months) & Evelyn (5 months) . . . . . Yeah, if you’re good at maths I was doing other stuff during lockdown as making all these videos.

I’ve had a rare night of “self reflection” and really just wanted to say a massive thank you to all of you guys for all of the support over that difficult time as without you I might have had to go out and get a “proper job” and my girls lives would be very different, love to you all xx

Adapting To Our Changing Times

Hi I’m Matt,

I’m a magician and variety entertainer based in Wakefield in the UK. In normal circumstances I spend my life performing and teaching magic and variety arts to people all over the country and abroad when I’m travelling.

As we’re all stuck at home for a bit I’ve adapted to bring my show and magic lessons to people via the internet using an awesome app called Zoom. I’m currently providing either a 25-30 minute interactive show you can invite your friends along to or a 1-2-1 online magic lesson which lasts about 20-30 minutes. You can check out all the details and even book directly from this page.

I’m looking to add a group magic class option soon once I’ve figured out the logistics. Below you can see me performing the floating ball trick for Dan on his birthday with his friends and family joining in too.
