Hi and thank you for visiting my page. Here’s a little background as to why I created it and what I can do for you 🥰

When shopping for my wedding dress I was initially really excited!
I couldn’t wait to make appointments at bridal shops and outlets to try on the dresses and hopefully find THE ONE!

Unfortunately my experience wasn’t all that great! Although it started off well, trying on dresses and staff helping me in and out of the gowns my joy soon turned to anxiety as staff began to pressure me into buying a dress I simply didn’t want and couldn’t afford!

They offered me payment plans that weren’t realistic, asked for a high deposit and continued to push and pressure me which made me feel backed into a corner and honestly quite embarrassed!

When I continued to say no and gave reason after reason why I didn’t want to buy that day the sales assistants became visibly annoyed with me and began treating me as an inconvenience!

Although I understood they had sales targets to hit I also didn’t want to rush into making a decision on something I might later regret and still have to pay for! Having a family at home I just couldn’t take on the financial burden of yet another high unnecessary monthly outgoing!
I left feeling very deflated and disappointed in the whole situation and vowed to never step foot into another bridal shop again!

I looked at bridal shops that were run from peoples homes but felt very uncomfortable at the thought of entering someone else’s home, an environment I wasn’t familiar with to try on dresses with a complete stranger with none of my friends or family around to encourage me.

I then spent months ordering gowns off the internet only to have to send them back because they didn’t fit or didn’t look how I’d imagined. By this point I’d all but given up and decided to make my own gown!

It was then that an idea was sparked! What if there are other women out there just like me who want to have that special moment of dress shopping but don’t want to have the whole day ruined by pushy sales staff?

What if I could create a bridal boutique that not only did everything for the customer with zero pressure to buy, but offered realistic payment plans, a low deposit and above all COMFORT!

Here at Budd’s Brides we will do an initial phone consultation to asses your style and size and take down your details.
We will then make an appointment to visit you at YOUR HOME at a time and date that suits you and we will bring the gowns to YOU!

You can try on as many as you like with as many people around to support you as you want!
There will be absolutely no pressure to buy anything and you can enjoy a complimentary glass of fizz during your experience 👌
If you do say “yes to the dress” and decide to buy all our gowns are guaranteed £499 or less! We offer flexible payment plans with low deposits to suit your budget and can even create a personalised plan!
