We were delighted to catch up with our Wedding Showcase competition winners Mhairi and Chris to discuss their wedding at the Town Hall.

The Town Hall is a licensed venue for ceremonies, we also offer hire packages for wedding receptions. The Castle Gardens provide the perfect backdrop for photographs following weddings held at the Town Hall.

We are delighted to announce a new stairlift was installed in the Town Hall this week.

Margaret McLaren was very pleased to be our first passenger. Visiting the Agatha Christie Exhibition on Friday evening, Margaret travelled with her husband from Scotland, meeting with friends who were visiting from Wales to join in the weekend activities in Wallingford.

Local resident Jennifer Dixon was also very grateful for the installation, mentioning what a smooth ride it was and that it felt very safe.

The Town Hall will be hosting an exhibition on the life of Agatha Christie this evening from 6:30pm to 9pm. Admission is free, no booking required.

On Saturday Wallingford Tea Rooms will be hosting an Agatha Christie themed afternoon tea in the Town Hall. Booking is essential please contact Wallingford Tea Rooms direct : the 2pm sitting is sold out, there are a few places still available for the 4pm sitting.

Wonderful wedding singer Georgie will be with us every day of the Showcase. She is offering a spectacular 20% discount to couples who book a package with her within a week of attending the wedding showcase.
