Lucy Sweeney is collecting pyjamas for the children who are having to stay over in hospital over the Christmas period whilst undergoing cancer treatment😢💔

Last year she managed to deliver 113 pairs!

If you haven’t already seen my stories, my husband Gary’s work are holding a Charity Fun Day at Wonder in Havant. If you’ve never been to Wonder before it’s an amazing role play session for children (mini hair salon, supermarket, fire station, space ship, mini hospital etc!) The whole day we will be raising money for The Amelia-Mae Foundation- a charity that helps support children and families going through childhood cancer, in particular, Neuroblastoma.

The Amelia-Mae foundation massively supported Ollie throughout his treatment and are still a huge support to the family now. We want to raise as much money as we can for this amazing charity.

On the day as well as the children playing in all the super fun rooms there will be surprise character visits, bake sale, face painting, games and a raffle etc 🤩

4 Years ago I made Ollie a balloon for his 2nd birthday, after watching a random YouTube video. He had just been diagnosed with Neuroblastoma and I wanted to try and get a little smile out of him… It worked! ☺️We then found out we needed to raise a stupid amount of money to get Ollie lifesaving treatment. The fundraising began. People had commented on the balloon I originally made, then I had a lightbulb moment. I could make balloons for people and donate all of the money to get us closer to our target. That’s exactly what I did and the reason why this little side hustle of balloons started. All for you Ollie. No amount of money could save you but every now and then when I make a balloon I always think of my little inspo up there and wonder if you approve of my creation! I’m sure you’re next to me laughing when the balloons pop in my face (sorry if you hear my occasional naughty words!) As every year passes and your birthday comes around, I will always look back at that very first Thomas balloon and wonder what you would be into now and what you would’ve had me making. You loved balloons so it makes my heart happy that you are always my reason “Why”. Happy 6th Birthday Ollie, forever 4 💔. Aunty Chi Chi Loves you forever darling boy 💙🎈🦋
