The planet and sustainability have always been at the forefront of our branding when it comes to our texture and materials - our creations are as natural as possible. We strive to consciously do as little harm to the planet as possible.

The teepee structures are made with Aspen wood. Aspen wood is sustainable thanks to the trees’ carbon sequestration. These species’ fast growth and ability to regrow from root suckers mean it’s possible to harvest wood without harming the forests. All wooden parts are absolutely natural and free from chemical treatment, the teepee fabric is hand-sewn from 100% organic cotton and all the bedding is well sourced. All scraps or spare material from the teepees are donated to save on waste.

We use fabric accessories and the origin of all of our materials are as sustainable as possible to try and look after our planet a little better. Let’s all try and do a little more, it does make a difference 🌳

For anyone seeking to create a magical and stress-free sleepover experience for their children, The Marvellous Sleepover is the top choice. Firstly, the customer service was outstanding. Annie truly went the extra mile to ensure everything was arranged to perfection. The meticulous design and high-quality materials used were impressive. Each teepees created a snug little retreat, complete with soft bedding, twinkling lights, and charming decorations that captivated the children's imaginations.

Setting up the teepees was a straightforward and hassle-free process, thanks to the efficient and friendly delivery team. The children had an absolute blast in their Movie Night themed sleepover teepees. The memories forged that night will surely be cherished for years. :)

A heartfelt thank you to Annie for surpassing our expectations and transforming our child's sleepover and his surprise 9th Birthday party into a truly enchanting affair! Oh yes.. The Marvellous Sleepover Company ‘as seen in The Hertfordshire Life Magazine’ ✨✨ So lovely to meet so many of you this year and to others..here is a little (essay style!!) bit more about me…

I’m Annie and I started The Marvellous Sleepover Company in March 2023, when my 12 year old daughter asked for a teepee birthday party. She had been to sleepover parties in the past and I went about looking for one, but the teepees didn’t seem to be big enough for her age nor glamorous enough for what I had envisaged. So somehow, without a second thought I decided that this was it, this was the product I fell in love with and wanted to run with until I got it exactly how I pictured in my head. When the penny clicked that this is what I was waiting for, I started designing my website within the week. I desperately wanted a professional to do my website, but the budget wasn’t there. So I learned many new skills within about 14 days. I have been a stay at home Mum for 12 years and I hadn’t stepped foot in the social media world previously, I was a total dinosaur to Instagram, Facebook and any media outlet. It was daunting, I’m still learning which buttons to press and often ‘post’ instead of adding to my ‘stories’, but every little part of it I am loving. I’ve always adored texture, the feel of good quality materials and sustainability is very important when I source my products. I am absolutely obsessed with my new little Company and the faces of the children when I see them after I have set up the teepees is one hundred per cent worth all the hours I put in trying to perfect their party - to make the memories that I remember so well when I was their age. I created the Company with love and want that to be reflected in the houses I go into to create that magic spark. This turned out to be the right conversation with my daughter, just at the right time of my life.
