🌹 Meet the Woman Behind Roses & Maur 🌹
Hi, I’m Lucy — the hands, heart, and hustle behind Roses & Maur.
If you know me, you know this isn’t just a flower business. It’s named after my beloved nanny, Maur, Moggo, Maureen who we sadly lost in 2024. She was elegance, strength, and warmth all wrapped in one — and I’m building this brand to honour her legacy.
I’m a full-time stay-at-home mum to two beautiful kids (7 and 3), chasing this dream in the in-between moments — during naptimes, after school runs, and late at night when the house is quiet. Right now, I work from my kitchen, surrounded by petals, ribbons, and a whole lot of love. It’s not glamorous — but it’s real.
Before college, I was lucky enough to learn from one of the very best Raff who took me under her wing and taught me the ropes of real floristry. The knowledge, the standards, the confidence I have today started with her guidance. She believed in me, and I’ll never forget that.
I’m now working towards my floristry qualifications, with one goal in mind: to take the industry by storm, build my own home workshop, and grow Roses & Maur into a business my nanny would be proud of — and one my children can one day look up to and work along side me 🙏🏾
Roses & Maur is for my nan. It’s for my kids. And it’s for anyone building something meaningful from scratch.
