⚠️🥹 IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ 🥹⚠️

Hi guys,

For those of you that don't know I am the face behind A Cattle Creation, for those of you that already know that, will know I don't actually look like this 99% of the time 😅

I first planted the idea of wanting to become a balloon artist in summer 2022 and then I spent 6 months practing before launching my small business in December 2022.

I loved balloons. I loved the endless possibilities of things you can create with them, I loved the smile they brought to people's faces, the joy they would bring and the way they could brighten up a room.

Unfortunately I am at a stage where I don't feel the above anymore. I hoped with time these feelings would pass but instead I am just becoming more & more critical of my own work and it is becoming a really sh*t headspace to be in.

For the above reasons I have decided ...

I AM TAKING A BREAK FROM BALLOONING. 🥹

I will still be taking bookings up until Sunday 17th December 2023 and then my diary will be closed.

I don't know how long it will be closed for. It might be a month, it might be 6 months or I may never do it again

BUT

what I do know is that I owe you all the biggest thank-you. You made my dream of doing this a reality and for that I will be forever grateful. 😭

I will still be doing balloons for friends and family in a bid to find my passion again and I will still be sharing my creations over on my Instagram page so if you want to come along for inspiration purposes please do give me a follow over on there.

COULD THIS HAVE BEEN MY HARDEST THEME TO DATE?! ....

As I always say, balloons are for all occasions and anniversaries are one of the special occasions that 100% need to be celebrated.

The brief for this anniversary balloon was -

20 years
Holiday themed
Sun, sea, sand and palm trees

We all know by now I have a thing for colour matching and the initial thought of using all them colours together filled me with dread

BUT

after a little play around with some colour combinations I think we pulled it out the bag.

I even came round to the pop of pink of the flamingo 🦩

Happiest of anniversaries to you both.

DID YOU KNOW A BALLOON TABLE STAND COULD BE SO BEAUTIFUL? 🥹

I didn't! I even amazed myself with this one.

How stunning did it turn out?

It has felt like a long time since I have been able to get creative with balloons and these table decorations are bringing back out my creative side and I love it.

I simply started off with painting the stand black and then added some Christmas tree bead decorations to give the additional bling.

ALWAYS REMEMBER STARS STILL SHINE DURING THE DARKEST TIMES .... ⭐

It was bitter sweet being asked to make this particular balloon. I wouldn't wish ill health on anyone but to be trusted to bring a smile to someones face especially when they aren't feeling 100% was the reminder I needed to why I got in to balloons.

I may have started off with just adding a couple of sprinkles to the corner of the 7 and before I knew it the whole number was covered. 🤭

I LOVED IT THOUGH! It was so bright and cheerful. What is not to love about a colourful birthday balloon?

SURELY NOT ANOTHER OPTION?! 🤯

I have recently shared two different ways we can do double digit displays that it felt only right to share this beauty.

It has probably been a good 9 months since I have done a double digit display on the same stack so I am not going to lie the anxiety that came with creating this was next level but I absolutely loved the end result.

🚨⚠️ WARNING - NEW STYLE ALERT!! ⚠️🚨

It is no secret that number stacks are my favourite type of balloon to create. I just LOVE them. I love making them. I love looking at them. They are a statement piece, they are full of detail, budget friendly all whilst being transportable.

BUT

not everyone has the space for such big displays. That is what brings me to this beauty.

THE TABLE NUMBER DISPLAY.

Just look at it 🥲

This is a lot more space friendly sitting at around 95cm in height. It still has the wow factor and I genuinely love it!

2 FAST 2 CURIOUS 🚓

I can't tell you how much I loved this display.

Firstly, it was for a returning mum. I still can't believe it every time someone who has ordered off me previously, orders again 😭 Recently I have been struggling with a lot of self doubt and have been questioning my love for my balloons, so this is EVERYTHING.

Secondly, I just love how my vision came to life combining the two themes together. Going off experience with my kids, 2 year olds are just SO curious and are into EVERYTHING. Trying to get something off them that they know they shouldn't have, is like a mini police chase every single time.

Please tell me you all agree? 🤣

ANOTHER FIRST FOR A CATTLE CREATION 🥹

This was the first time I have been trusted to make TWO double number displays for a husband and wife celebrating their birthday milestones at the SAME party. I can confirm I was obsessed with them. 🥲

I decided to keep them the same but different (you should all know by now I like things to match and flow 😅) They were simple yet so classy.

70th and 75th birthday balloons have never looked so good.

Not all displays need to be OTT sometimes less is more and if you needed proof, this is it.

BLUEY 🐾

We didn't know if these bluey mini foils would be in stock in time for Ollie's birthday but they were and how amazing are they?

Bluey is one of the most watched TV programmes in our household so I loved making this one.

I know there are lots of other farm animals I could have added to the display but if there is one you should all know about me .... I have a thing about colour combinations so I couldn't bring myself to just throw a whole pink pig on. The pink on the cow brings me enough anxiety as it is 😂 sorry, not sorry 😅

FOOTBALL ISN'T SOMETHING IM IN TO PERSONALLY BUT ....

even I stood back and appreciated this display. ⚽

These colours together just looked INCREDIBLE.

I am equally obsessed with the little trophies that just matched the colour combination perfectly. It was my first time using them and I will be adding them to future displays for sure

OK, I MAY SOUND A BIT NUTS BUT HEAR ME OUT ...

Making this balloon filled me with happiness as it reminded me of my grandma.

Isn't it weird how the most random things can make you remember loved ones? Like how a certain song can take you back to a particular time and a place? Or how a certain smell reminds you of someone?

Well, my grandma passed 16 years ago and would sign all her cards with xo at the end so if there was ever a balloon I was meant to make this is the one.

THE MOST ADORABLE FIRST BIRTHDAY DISPLAY I EVER DID SEE 🥹🩷

I am still not over how adorable this 1st birthday display turned out a couple of weeks ago.

The brief was pink, girlie and cats.

When the cat foils arrived I noticed it had a little gold crown on so this may have ended up being a focus point for the entire display and I LOVED IT! 🥹

DID YOU KNOW ....

I have NEVER watched any of the star wars films 🫣

BUT

It is one of my favourite displays to create.

This is my 4th star wars display and once again it did not disappoint. Not many themes can pull off being just being one colour but personally Darth Vader with all black just matches perfectly.

😭 DON'T YOU EVER GROW UP 😭 Making this balloon display did all kinds of things to my heart. Even as I sit and try and think of a caption my eyes are streaming. 🥹 For those that don't know, Keepers Gate Forest School is a preschool based in Weston-super-Mare and it is such an incredible place. I cannot recommend it enough. Both my children have been lucky enough to attend Keepers Gate Forest school and whilst it has only been for one chapter, it is one that we will never forget. 🥹🖤

DARLING, DONT QUIT YOUR DAY DREAM 💭 I first heard this song back when I first launched "A Cattle Creation" and as soon as I heard it I fell in love with it. The lyrics really hit deep & it has become a song I listen to, to remind me just why I started. If you are have a dream however big or small, go for it. It may succeed or yes it may fail but as the saying goes, failing is better than having to live with the regret of never trying. 💙💜
