All the attention at one stage this morning went to everyones favourite Touchwood. As displayers of ‘5 Trees’ they’re o so Christmassy when it matters in Wetherby.

We’re always looking for volunteers; women and men, especially when it comes to preparing the c200 trees and repairing the lights.
Then we have to deploy them safely around Wetherby, Collingham and Kirk Deighton.
So watch out for posts in September & October if you’re interested. 😊👍

Thanks from the Christmas Lights team to Costa Coffee - it’s the ‘Big Take Down’ - except around the town hall, which stay for other reasons.,

Think of us this morning putting up the big tree outside the Wetherby Town Hall in preparation for handover to the commercial team at Wetherby & District Business Association next weekend

The 'Big Tree' Goes up this weekend - Sunday 9am, see you outside the Town Hall.
Then we volunteers hand it all over to The Wetherby Business Association.

Upgrading some of the tired lights is next priority to buy new light displays for Christmas 2025 - We'll be Rattling the tin!!!
