December - party time at the Royal Hotel Whitby we had any number of Christmas parties and one or two pastries. Not only do we cater for the Coach trippers we are delighted the businesses of Whitby came to our Christmas parties too.
We hope you all know the Royal Hotel Whitby isnt just for Christmas Coach parties its a local venue for one and all.....
Anyway we had a porkpie...
We also made friends with Monsters as the Whitby Krampus Run made a mark on the town with folklore galore. A celebration of naughty children being eaten - what do you think was in the pork pies? A colourful parade and a whirling dervish of energy followed by a Ball - how very festive.
There was more noise being made in the ballroom as Bradfords own Terrorvision (official) arrived for the very first Royal Hotel Whitby Christ-mosh. Supported by brilliant Nirvana from beyond the grave and Green Day from Stockport that roof we just put back on disappeared!
Tony from the band created Whitby's own artwork a joyful Massacre at the Royal Whitby. No one was hurt in the production of this event and all left a glow - although Tony nearly fell through the stage - its all rock and roll baby....
Its also of note that the band made £295 for RNLI on the night by way of a raffle for the exclusive artwork. Not a bad set of lads - your welcome anytime.
So after festive child eating and a massacre we needed some love - and where is the love - WHITBY FOGHORN MAGAZINE Day Time Disco - Ok so we shorted the power 20 mins before the show - but we managed to get a candle or two lit and the dance floor was full. All credit to Whitby you come out dancing every afternoon we put on - drink responsibly kids....
One final act of 2025 and we let loose the Whitby Soul Club, fill the room with shuffles and slides - goodbye 2025....
Thanks to all who contributed and made the events as wonderful as they have been. More thanks to you for attending and following our bubble of energy - Thanks for coming, you are always a right f**king laugh.......

November - and she's burning out the sky! fireworks??? Maybe next year.... Nothing really happened apart from the busiest Goth festival in living history.
The Revenant went off with Royal Hotel Whitby packed to brim with faces grim!!! Live music and a Goth Disco brought in the masses for a record weekend.
Liam Brandon Murray brought his own style of dress wear to the event and let us in to see the world in his mind...
There was a Murder Mystery in the Ballroom a classic farce of a who done it. Colonel Mustard in the harbour with a pitch fork?? you will have to fine out??
Then a small matter of the first SKA of MOD festival - sold out in 48 hours and 2 days of the best 2 tone available. All served up by Death of Guitar Pop as the headliner - we had to put the roof back on again as they blew it away - pukka - blinding - lively - oi oi.....
Oh and someone put the Christmas dec's up

October - how we have waited for this one - Only a weekend in Whitby - if you know you know and 400 expectant fans of CUD knew. The CUDets where out in force and the did not disappoint.
With support from British Birds, Ultrasound and the wild fire that burnt bright Miles Hunt the roof was blown off only to be blown off again by the return of CUD and the Whitby Town team mascot for an encore of 'ONLY a prawn in Whitby'.
Fortunately the Royal Direction Choir managed to restore order with the first of many shows in the Ballroom we hope. Also the The Fat Badger Whitby stormed into London rowing up stream to see the King.
Then back to live music with Jon and Dan from the The Levellers supported by live wire Fraser Morgan and the brilliant Gaelforce.
The Month would not be quite right without a Day Time Disco - did anyone come and see the Pop Puppies? WHITBY FOGHORN MAGAZINE
