What an amazing night we had last night at the Wilsden and Harecroft Community Heroes Awards! A great event to celebrate all that is good in our villages. We will post all of the photographs when we have them back from the photographer, but in the mean time here are a few.

We have had a fantastic 22 nominations for this year's awards! Thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate.

The Committee have had the lovely job of sharing the news with all of the nominees and we are looking forward to the Awards Night in a few weeks.

Which of the many groups in Wilsden and Harecroft, run by volunteers, brings something to your life to be thankful for? We have such a range for all ages; babies, toddlers, young people and our seniors are all catered for in our villages, thanks to the time and dedication of volunteers.

Show your thanks by nominating groups you attend for a Community Hero Award using the nomination form that has been delivered through your door alongside The Wilsdener (also available at the Post Office or Village Hall).

Have you got a neighbour who helps you out and makes a difference to your life? Say thank you by nominating them for a Community Heroes Award!

All nominees are invited to an Awards Night at the Village Hall and presented with a certificate and commemorative mug, regardless of whether they win their category.
