I have been really quiet on my social media over the last few week's as in addition to Ever After by Eimear - I have another business EG Marketing, Events & Administration

I am currently working in the marketing team at Cheltenham Racecourse, so I am sure you can imagine it is pretty busy, one week out from the Cheltenham Festival!

💖⭐️Pink and gold colour scheme - with sequins (I love sequins!)

🌸🌺An abundance of flowers

🚲🍽️A nod to vintage - I collected all of my own china, yes that was 200 of everything from coffee cups to dinner plates!

I love weddings, that are a reflection of the personality of the bride and groom. I hope that our family and friends felt our wedding reflected both of our personalities. 👰🏻‍♀️🤵

✨Wedding Budgeting Tips✨

💷 Four top tips when starting your wedding budget:

✨Think about what is most important to you both - is it venue, guest numbers, decor, etc... and plan your budget focusing on what matter most to you both.

✨Research all your options, to find the most competitive prices without compromising on your desired standard.

✨Focus on the big things first -venue/marquee, caterer, band, photographer. When you have these sorted the rest will easily follow.

✨Be prepared to move your budget around, but don't be flexible on your total spend.

💫Oh and most importantly - budget for an on-the-day wedding manager - to make your wedding day, stress free and fabulous! 🤩

Did you get engaged on Valentines Day? 💍

Valentines Day is one of the most popular days of the year to get engaged! 💘

This picture was taken the day I got engaged in July 2017. 💖

We were in Croatia on our first holiday together and my now husband was behaving oddly for the first 24 hours of our holiday. It definitely wasn’t the start to the holiday I had imagined.

However, lunch time on our second day all became clear, Mark suggested we pop back to the room, before lunch. There was champagne waiting for us, which I of course questioned. I was told to sit down and stop talking. Which I did and that’s when he did it. 💍❤️

I always thought I would like a big elaborate engagement in front of loads of people, but actually it’s so emotional, I am so happy it was just the two of us! 👩🏽‍❤️‍👨🏼

✨Wedding Planning✨

Are you wondering where to start with your wedding planning and what are the most important things to get done first?

✨Celebrate your engagement - this is so important, the engagement buzz is the best, so celebrate it! 🥂

✨Budget- when planning your budget think about what is most important to you both. Research costs and then plan your budget based on your priorities for your day. 💷

✨Guest List- this can be one of the hardest things to do. Try not to invite people because you feel you have to. Anyone who has ever planned a wedding or celebration knows how hard it is and you can't invite everyone, so don't worry about offending people. The majority of people understand. 👫👫

✨Venue - once you know your numbers, you can start thinking about and researching venues if your celebrating your wedding at home, then research marquees, tipis etc... Make sure you get plenty of quotes, as marquees can differ significantly in price. 🎪

✨Date - this may be the first thing you decide and sometimes your venue or supplier availability may influence your decision. 📆

✨Ceremony - decide on what type of ceremony you would like and book it. Once you have done this you will have your first confirmed time of the day. ⛪️

✨Caterer - Decide on what style of catering you want and do lots of research and ask people you know for recommendations. 🍴

I ❤️ both, but would probably sway more towards champagne 🥂, although I think cocktails set a very fun vibe! 💃🏽🕺
