Hello! It's been a while.

The last few months have been a bit of rollercoaster. At the start of Autumn, I found out I was expecting another baby. But sadly I had a miscarriage about 6 weeks in. It's been incredibly hard, with lots of ups and downs. Life was suddenly about to change again massively for us, then just like that it went in a completely direction.

I haven't had much energy to put into floristry and weddings, I haven't really had much every do anything. But it is all starting to get easier now and I'm grateful for lots of things in my life. Floristry being one of them!

With that in mind, I will be making wreaths next weekend. I'm just doing a short stint of them this year, working on them over the weekend of 7th and 8th Dec and a few days after so if you'd like to place an order for one, then please do get in touch.

As well as the usual occasions for sending flowers - birthdays, Valentine's Day etc, I'm pretty certain there's a fair few us that could add 'THANK YOU FOR THE CHILDCARE!' to that list.

These blooms were sent out yesterday to do just that job. I could be sending these to my parents pretty much every week!

The lovely Giv and her husband Will earlier this year.

Giv really wanted to use dried for the flowers so that her bridesmaids we're able to keep their bouquets after the day ❤️ We played around with different shades of pink and mixed in different textures to create a rustic, colourful look.

Thank you for letting me be part of your day, it was a pleasure to create your flowers for you.

Mabel Ann Oldfield Hooper joined the team on January 2nd ❤️

Life with two is a little crazy but wonderful, I'm equal parts exhausted and so happy.

I hope you had a good Christmas and New Year! Missing my business also desperate to absorb all the newborn cuddles. It's goes way too fast.

Alas the time has come, I can waddle around my garage no more 🤰🏼

I'll be starting my maternity leave today and will be off for the foreseeable future. I won't be doing Valentine's or Mother's Day next year but hope to be back at some point next summer.

I want to thank everyone who has placed an order with me, liked/shared/commented on a post or given an encouraging word. It all means so much to me.

Working for yourself can at times be stressful and unpredictable and there have been times recently when this pregnancy has pushed me to my limit. But I'm still so grateful to do what I do, losing myself in floristry and being creative has at times been the thing that's kept going.

Taking a break from your own business feels like you're letting go of something very precious but I will be back. And I know right now, family and health has to come first.

Sending you all love this Christmas and thank you again for sticking with me.
