It was an absolute pleasure entertaining you….and unlikely we will get to say ‘thank you hogwarts…..and goodnight’……ever again!!! 😂😂😂🤷‍♂️

Please could whoever it was who pinched my zebra cowboy hat from last nights gig at The Angel Inn, Andover return it, we’ve been through a lot together!!!!

I don’t know what you want. If you are looking for ransom I can tell you I don’t have money, but what I do have are a very particular set of skills. Skills I have acquired over a very long career with that zebra hat.

Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my hat go now that’ll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you, but if you don’t, I will look for you, I will find you…..and I will come round your house and play loud music thru your letter box at extremely anti social hours!!

Following on from the success this summer of Headliners ‘24 where we featured 8 acts filmed around the Lights……..who’s ready for a similar event to Jools Hollands New Years Eve Hootenany……on NEW YEARS EVE?

Because it’s happening!!

Love Andover and myself are putting on a ticketed event featuring popular local bands, solo artists and food in a central location…and we are going to see in 2025 in style…..who’s interested?

It gets better, we are supporting Chris Moyles, national broadcasting DJ extraordinaire!

One of my favourite local causes Kick_Start_FC are currently in the process of walking from Andover to Wembley to raise money…..these guys are fantastic local community advocates for sports being at the forefront of positive mental health and are raising awareness for su***de prevention.

They are a bit knackered and dead on their feet and have so far raised £1500!!!

you truly are one of a kind, a wonderful singer, moral compass and general all round good egg!!!

Over the last two years with the The ShowPonies - Wedding & Party Band what’s become apparent is getting out there and performing often opens up other opportunities from word of mouth or random strangers coming up to you at a gig and asking for your details to perform.

So earlier this year we played a racecourse thanks to a recommendation from another band….and then a carnival thru the same person. That was the first opportunity.

While doing the racecourse gig a lady came up and said I’m doing a festival this summer….would you please come and play….give me your details.

So, as a result…..the Showponies are playing today at a private music festival for several hundred people…..and the location…..well, you couldn’t make this up……it’s a professional horse riding and equestrian centre 😂😂😂

Funny how the universe works innit!!!!

Tonight the mighty The ShowPonies - Wedding & Party Band will be playing at The Orchard Inn Amesbury with our usual brand of acoustic mayhem, then tomorrow onto the The Greyhound, Broughton for another Love Andover summer session featuring a number of brilliant acts!!
