Our ‘Amelie’ collection is one of our most popular artificial designs which can include buffet designs, rings, arches/moongate, garlands and a flower wall🩷 Swipe to see an aisle set up at ➡️

Consisting of mostly flowers, this collection is mixture of artificial white, ivory and blush/nude pink roses with pops of eucalyptus.

Due to its neutral tones, the designs will complement any colour palette! - And it’s also great for couples who can’t decide on a theme as we can add other colours into this collection.

Amelie works perfectly with colours such as sage, moss or emerald green, lilacs and pretty pinks, pastel palettes, navy, and neutrals! What’s not to love!🫶🏼

Let’s talk buttonholes…
Who is supposed to have one? How do you attach them to your clothing? How big are they? Which side do you wear them on?

We have the answers to all of those questions and this is something we will always discuss during your meetings with us, but in the meantime we’ve answered a couple of them below!

1. Who is supposed to wear a buttonhole?

This is totally up to you and your preferences. We have previously done weddings where only the Groom will wear one, or just Groom and best man/best woman. On the other hand you could have everyone close to you wearing them, which could include Groom, best man/woman, groomsmen, mums, dads, brothers, sisters, nans and grandads… the list goes on!

In most cases, couples tend to go for groom, best men, groomsmen, page boys, dads, mums, nans and grandads. 🩷

2. How do you attach them to your clothing?

It depends which style you go for. A buttonhole would be attached using a pin or safety pin which would go through the stems and the lapel of your jacket/blazer. A boutonnière is an alternative option which is shown on image two. This slides into the jacket/blazer pocket where the pocket square would usually sit.

3. Who would usually attach these for us on the morning of our wedding?

We do!! If we are on a changeover for your wedding, we will always stay and ensure everyone has what they need, everything is fastened on correctly and is placed on the right side!

If we are not on hand, for example you are collecting your flowers or we are on a set up only for your wedding, we will leave them with your venue staff and everything will be clearly labelled with names attached.

We will always ask for the names of all guests that are having buttonholes or wrist corsages as we have not met most of these people. This means we can easily locate them, usually with the help of your best man or woman, a groomsmen or a close family relative who will be on hand to point people out for us. Providing us with names will also ensure we only give buttonholes out to the people who have been allocated one.

It was a Flossie’s first last week dressing The Hayloft in Cheshire! This venue was a pleasure to dress, with quirky seating arrangements and table centrepieces to suit the size and style of the room layout.

With rustic features incorporated within the venue styling and our ‘classic’ table plan design, everything flowed and complimented each other so perfectly throughout this wedding day. 🌿
