Sorry not my usual post but wanted to warn people that John Lewis online are as good as useless.

I have ME and am also a full time carer to our daughters who have additional needs. I was lucky enough to get a gift voucher for Christmas and eventually decided that I’d buy this Meaco air circulator as I have lymphoedema and hot weather makes me even more poorly.

John Lewis however allowed it to be sent with click and collect to a store that wouldn’t accept parcels that size. Eventually after three phone calls and a few days and a load of bluff from their customer service team, they agree to send another one out (as the original is on its way back to them )but next day delivery to my home. Ok…. I stay in the next day to ensure I’m here. Nothing. Saturday comes and goes.

Monday comes, DPD tracking says it hasn’t even left JL. JL customer service (4th call) say it has and should be with me tomorrow (now today!) No change in status this morning and then I receive an email telling me my refund will be processed in the next 5 days. What refund???
I didn’t ask for a refund nor did I want one. For a company that say they’ll let you know if there is any problem, to say that this is a lie, would be an understatement to say the least. I’ve had no communication at all about any of this delivery.

As it happens, their refund will take up to five days and yet I’m supposed to pay for a new one from my bank account (which won’t cover it as my pittance of a carer’s allowance as I’m low until next payment.) Yet that apparently is my problem, not theirs! How can that be? I didn’t pay using my account, nor did I ask for a refund?! So I can’t get the item that I desperately need, because of their systems. How is that right?

I got offered a £20 refund or 10% off; that still wont be enough to enable me to buy it and not go into overdraft. Why am I paying for their mess up?
Just appalling.

I haven’t posted in a while as I’ve been busy doing other bits and pieces; keeping busy doing voluntary work etc, which is lovely. I’ve made a few of these recently though.

Sadly I made this one for my husband to send to a colleague. I have other sympathy designs in the pipeline. One more of these available currently. Let’s hope no one needs it!

I’ve been awfully absent of late with the Christmas holidays and beginning to develop a small range of cards to go alongside my floral work.
These are just two of my designs. Posting “new baby” ones today. More occasions to come in coming days. All can be personalised with particular colour ways or text changed.

What a lovely, lovely way to spend a lunchtime. Great fun and many smiles shared at the Warspite 1st Cuddington Sea Scouts Christmas Extravaganza.

I met so many wonderful people and enjoyed every moment of it.
Feeling the Christmas vibes for sure now. 🎄🎅🏼 🌟

Table arrangement in lovely Christmas colours. This will be coming with me to a Christmas fair in a couple of weeks. Flowers all handmade from paper, and colours added by hand.

I’m so snowed under at the moment so I’m not getting around to much social media but I am flat out creating. These are a little snapshot of some of the flowers that I’m in the midst of for Winter/Christmas fairs. Loving the Tulip 'Coerulea Oculata Alba' for a splash of unusual colour in the midst of the Christmassy colours.

Hello lovely insta friends and peeps… I’ve been awol for so long. My kids had a two week half term to that has been a bit of a challenge. Anywhooooo I’ve been busy diversifying for my Xmas fairs… so I’ve been utilising many of my beads that I use for my paper decorations to make some lovely bracelets etc.
if anyone likes anything they see (clearly not my eldest in her Halloween t shirt 😂) let me know as I can pass on before they get to the Xmas fairs.

I’ve been been very absent of late as I’ve been madly making when I have time for Christmas and it’s been manic! Here are just a few items that I’ve made over the last few days and they’ll be coming to the Warspite 1st Cuddington Sea Scouts extravaganza on December 3rd (apart from the Diwali glass block which is a gift for our new neighbours).
I’m loving these glass blocks as they are larger than the regular and feel like a really great decorative gift.

I’m still making paper decorations, angels and some jewellery - so drop me a line if you fancy something to brighten your home for Christmas.

Ps sorry I haven’t been posting or tagging much; I have so much going on at the moment that it’s become so tricky. Plus a poorly eldest at the moment which has meant I’m on go slow as so tired from being up with her much of the last few nights. 🥱 Hoping she’s over the worst of it now. 🤗

A personal project today. It’s my mother in law’s 80th on Monday so this is from our girls. Not my usual work but I love making a variety of things. Craft is craft after all. 😊

Now back to work next week on work for Christmas stalls. 😊

A little something I’ve been working on today. Someone lovely asked me if I make daffodils… well now I do! I’m always willing to have a go at anything and of course, I wasn’t happy just trying a simple daff… so I also tried making some doubles too. I’m pleased with them. I hope they’ll bring a ray of Springtime to everyone. I can do various colour combinations - these are currently unfinished as they need their colour tints and stem/leaves adding but I’ve enjoyed these.
