This absolute stunner holds a dark inside (well a death by chocolate fudge cake) and is surrounded by a purple ombre textured coating. This is a new favourite flavour of mine and it was an absolute privilege to make it for the lovely Flick for her husband’s birthday. These types of cakes really are my favourite to do and this one is a Banana cake sandwiched with an American peanut butter buttercream, a homemade blueberry compote and a maple candied bacon crumble. It is adorned with homemade peanut brittle, fresh blueberries MORE candied bacon crumble and bordered with home air dried banana chips.
