If you’re getting married next summer, are you ready?

It might seem like a long time away, but it will arrive much more quickly than you realise. Plus, many wedding suppliers will already be booked up for next summer, particularly any well-known suppliers with excellent reputations!

So take this time to make a list of suppliers you still need to book, and aim to have them all booked in by Christmas. Then you'll feel so much more relaxed going into 2026 knowing your wedding suppliers are all organised! 🩷

Hello September, the first of the “ber” months, and my favourite season of all, Autumn. 🍂🐝

There’s something about this time of year that feels like a fresh chapter, golden light, crisp mornings, and the promise of cosy evenings ahead. A season of change, but also of comfort.

September is already looking like such a special month, I have four weddings, each one completely unique and beautiful in its own way. I can’t wait to share in the laughter, the love, and those unforgettable little moments that make each ceremony so personal.

It’s also a month for making decisions, embracing change, and stepping into new beginnings, and I feel that energy all around just now. ✨

So here’s to September: a month of love stories, turning leaves, and exciting things to come.

And if you’re planning your own special day for 2026 or 2027, now is the perfect time to start those conversations, I would love to chat and see how we can create something beautiful together 🍁

What an absolute joy it was to be part of Chris & Teresa’s cowboy-themed vow renewal at her family home.🤠🐴

Their family and friends really went for it, boots, hats and all, which made the whole day so much fun. Teresa had even kept her wedding dress from 25 years ago, and it was there on display along with Chris’s suit and one of their bridesmaids dresses, as a beautiful reminder of where their journey first began.

There were such tender moments too, their personal vows had everyone smiling (and wiping away a few tears), and Chris’s dad read the very same poem he had shared on their wedding day. It was incredibly special to see past and present woven together like that.

The atmosphere was warm, welcoming and full of laughter, the kind of gathering where you instantly feel at home. And I couldn’t help but think what a gift it was for the younger generation watching on, seeing what true love really looks like after 25 years together.

Chris & Teresa thank you for letting me be part of your story. Your love is inspiring, your day was unforgettable, and I’ll treasure the memory of it always ❤️

That is the question! As today is National Bow Tie Day (who knew?!) I'd love to know what the groom and groomsmen will be wearing at your wedding!

Will they be fully suited and booted or are you opting for something a bit more casual? Personally, I love it when wedding outfits have that unique personal touch!

If you wear an engagement ring, put it on your right hand on the morning of your wedding.

This way, there will be no awkwardness when your partner goes to put your wedding ring on, and you can then put your engagement ring on top! 💍

This top tip has saved a lot of my brides a little fuss during their wedding ceremony!

Today is World Photo Day, so I wanted to talk about how choosing photos of your loved one for their memorial and order of service, or any displays you would like to have at the funeral can be a difficult process. All the memories that come from looking back at these photos, some happy, and some not so happy, can make choosing funeral photos a very emotional task.
