Sometimes, I’m invited to meet with families, or the person themselves, before a funeral needs to be arranged.
It might be a mum who wants to spare her children difficult decisions later,
or someone who simply wants to know their story will be told the right way.
These conversations aren’t morbid, they are full of life, love, and laughter.
We talk about favourite songs, proudest moments, even the things that made them roll their eyes.
It’s a chance to reflect, to share memories, and to find comfort in knowing it’s all in safe hands.
When the time comes, their family doesn’t have to guess what they would have wanted, they already know.
And that, in itself, is a gift.
If you would like to talk about planning ahead, I’m here, ready to listen, and to help make sure your story is told your way.
