Last weekend we exhibited at the last Gresford Artisan Market of the year, and thanks to the incredible donations made by all those who attended, we raised an amazing £623.22!!

That money all goes towards supporting families who are affected by - either through our gift boxes, or through the funding of medical research, as we look to help fund better outcomes for children with cancer 🎗️

We also had a Christmas hamper raffle, and the lucky winner was drawn last night. Congratulations to Gill Ratcliffe on being the name drawn out - we will be in touch shortly to deliver the hamper to you 🏆!

We wanted to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to everyone who has attended the markets over the course of this year, as well as Brian and Melissa from Beech Avenue Brewery who organise the event, and we hope to see you all again throughout 2024.

Hey to^sties!

We have an exciting schedule of events lined up for Autumn with more events to be revealed in the next few weeks.

First up, is Friends round Friday on Friday 29th September from 5pm - these evenings were super popular through the summer with many customers enjoying our sharing boards and alcohol menu.
It is advisable to book a table but we will take walk ins if there’s enough room.

Then we have our beer tasting event with a local brewery - Beech Avenue Brewery on Friday 20th October starting at 7pm. You’ll get to taste 5 of their beers and 3 of their liqueurs and this is accompanied by a beer food sharing board of welsh cheese, charcuterie and nibbles. Places are filling up fast and it only costs £25 per person!

Next up sees the return of Elen from Blodau El Flowers who will be running a workshop on Friday 27th October starting at 6.30pm. Elen will guide you decorate a pumpkin with fresh and dried flowers for an autumn centrepiece or for Halloween. All materials provided and light refreshments are included in the price of £30 per person. Places filling fast!

Finally, for now is another Friends round Friday on Friday 3rd November from 5pm. You know the drill.

Wow, it's nearly 2 years since we started Gresford Artisan Market and what an amazing day yesterday!
We've grown from stalls in the main hall at Gresford Trust Memorial Hall to the Summer Fair and Dog Show. It's great that so many of you joined us and enjoyed the afternoon, thank you for your support.
Thank you to all the wonderful traders and The Unbeatable Eva Foundation who have joined us throughout, your help and support is always appreciated.
It was great to work with Gresford Community Council and the volunteers, charities and community stalls that joined them for the picnic in the park keeping everyone entertained!
And a shout out to Shad's Legacy North Wales and Alpaca Avenue, a dog show and alpacas, who could resist? Thank you guys you were fantastic!

We'll be back on Sunday 3rd December for a festive market, follow Gresford Artisan Market to keep up to date with our events!

The sun is shining and we're excited to see you all tomorrow!
We have a great selection of stalls for the Artisan Market and community stalls organised by the Community Council as part of the picnic in the park with entertainment and the scarecrow parade.
And remember to say Hi to the Alpacas!

The dog show starts at 12.30pm.
We're looking forward to seeing all of your lovely doggos, please keep them on leads and remember to clear up after your furry friends.

Join all the wonderful local producers and makers in the Artisan Market, watch the dog show, meet the alpacas and enjoy the entertainment at the Picnic in the Park.
With food from Wild Flour, Fully Loaded Grill and Notorious Eatz in the Streetz, sweet treats from Lakeside Bakes, Doughnutology Chester, Wrexham, Flintshire and Woodlands Ice Cream and drinks from Beech Avenue Brewery and Mrs Sippy Mobile Cocktail Bar.

Have you got the Picnic in the Park in your diaries? Next Sunday - 3rd Sept! It's going to be great! GCC has teamed up with the Artisan Market to bring you our first Village Fair in a long time! Gorgeous handmade goods on sale at the Artisan Market, including lovely food, plus lots of community groups from our villages too. Bring a picnic, and a blanket to sit, on and join Andy Snowden for a musical entertainment and, for the children, we have Holly's face painting and Hannah's Story Tents. Find out which of the fab scarecrows is the People's Choice and who has won the trail prize! Come and have fun with your friends and neighbours - see you there x
