Solo performances from one of the area’s premier functions and events band frontman. Multi award winning instrumentalist and vocalist bringing a varied selection of music from across the best in rock, pop, indie, reggae, motown, ska and rock n roll.
Currently fronting local favourites SECTION 20 and THE JAILHOUSE JETS and the fantastic events and functions band THE FIREBEATS whilst slotting in solo performances where possible.
Whilst a prolific singer-songwriter, these performances are selected from hits spanning six decades of the best chart music in an eclectic mix which ensures that everyone who loves music will appreciate. Covering everything from Ed Sheeran to Black Sabbath, The Beatles to Rag & Bone Man, Gary Numan to Britney Spears, Queen to Chuck Berry, delivered with thoughtfulness, respect and variation on themes that perhaps seem incongruous but somehow fit together perfectly.
Using a variety of solo guitar mixed with self-recorded backing, banjo, harmonica, sax, harmonium and keyboards, performances always provide the unexpected, especially sections on “songs that probably shouldn’t be played on an acoustic guitar”!
