After taking a well deserved Christmas break, we would both like to wish Happy New Year to all our customers and friends!
What a year its been for Pop of Colour! Something that started off so small during lockdown has just continued to grow and grow and whilst the amount of jobs, messages and balloon stock have continued to grow our team still remains at just 2 of us. We know we have got slower on the message front and at times we have completely missed things and we apologise for this but to all the people who have continued to support us we appreciate each and every one of you!
For those of you that don't know us here is a little info..
So we are 2 sisters, and we started this business as a bit of fun during lockdown to brighten peoples birthdays whilst one of us was furloughed from a part time job and the other of us didn't have a job at the time it just seemed like something we could manage, with lock down rules as they were we worked separately from different houses and could only do 'click and collect' or doorstop drop offs....
But then things changed one of us took on a full time job working 12hr days and it made pop of colour a little bit harder, then things opened back up and we started doing more set ups, we spent more time away from our families, the other of us went back to work but this time started a new job and went full time aswell, followed by one of us finding out we were pregnant and suffering with 3months straight of sickness and then we finished the year with a big birthday with one of us hitting 30 and the celebrations took over so whilst non of these are excuses these are the reasons we haven't responded to all messages straight away, or been able to take on your order or uploaded to social media we are sorry but its been a crazy year for us.
In 2022 we are still here and we want to be bigger and better than ever but thats not going to come without its challenges whilst we continue to work full time in other jobs and one of us due to give birth spring time next year things may have to slow down at times but we want to continue to grow our stock, our props, and our designs. We want to continue to help create wonderful birthday, anniversary, baby, wedding and many more memories with you and we thank you all for your continued support throughout. Here's to the next year all we ask is that you get your orders booked in as early as possible to help us to accommodate everyone. Whilst our customers our very important to us, our health and families will always take priority and next year we will definitely be trying to make sure we balance life 💗
